  3. Hello Celipia and welcome to SL Forums. We have currently issues in world with regions rolling restarts for maintenance. Please see: http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ The error message you get it is very possible to be relative. Try to log in a difference region. Protected lands like Smith, Exeuxoa or Anzere are recommended. If you use the official viewer 3 and you can't select a different region, in your log in screen give the command: Menu Me --> Preferences --> General Tab --> Enable "Show on login" --> OK. After click the down arrow where it says "Start at" and choose <Type region name> --> Smith --> Login. Normally this will fix your problem. If not, make some patience and watch http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ for updates.

Please see: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3864 The best you can do is to follow the suggestion from Maestro Linden submitting a ticket --> Marketplace --> Failed Marketplace Delivery. Explain analytically what was happened, include the order number and the name(s) of the item(s) that failed to be delivered and wait for a reply. The same for your purchases. Normally you have to wait up to 24 hours. That's what officially LL reports here. Good luck.
  6. Hello and welcome to SL Forums. Do you know that LiveChat is available only from 9am to 6pm PST? I guess no. Also when there is an announcement in http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ for issues in world the only you can do is patience. In any other case if your region is offline you have to submit a ticket --> Land & Region --> Report an offline region and wait for a reply.
  7. Hello Anikad and welcome to SL Forums. If a merchant sent you directly again the item is very possible to sent it no in a box but already unpacked. Don't look only into your objects tab. So the first you have to do is to use the search on the top of your inventory typing the name of the product or at least a part of it. Notices is possible to be capped, that doesn't prove that you didin't get the stuff. However if you are sure that you can't find them in your inventory, contact again the merchants asking politely again for re-delivery. You can't do something else.
  8. Hello Jade. Here is a resident to resident Forum. We are residents like you and we try to help. If you want to contact directly Linden Lab, you can do that or with a ticket or using the Live Chat (if you are a premium). About your problem: If you accidentally wore stuff and you can't remove them my suggestion is at first to try an avatar test. You find it in V3 under Menu Develop (Ctrl+Alt+Q) --> Avatar --> Character Tests --> Test Male / Female. If it works, everything will be removed by your avatar and you will see your avatar like a noob. After you can change again outfit. If it doesn't work give a try to clear your cache manually out of SL and having your viewer closed, deleting all contests at the following folders: C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife If you use more than 1 viewers (i think you do) delete also all contests in: C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ PhoenixViewer and (or) C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Firestorm and repeat with all viewers you have installed in your computer, even you use them occasionally. After log in back in a quiet sim without lag like for example Smith or Exeuxoa or Anzere. Stay there under the water, open your inventory, write something in search there and wait fetching ALL your items till the last one. During this process (downloading), avoid to do something else like teleporting, chatting, moving etc. Normally it will load all your inventory. When fetching finishes, try to change outfit. try to change outfit, choosing one with just the necessary stuff (skin, shape, hair, eyes, pants and shirt) without any attachments. Wait some seconds. Rebake your textures using Ctrl+Alt+R and repeat several times if it is necessary. Good luck. EDIT: You are very quick Marigold! :smileyvery-happy:

Here is the link: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx If that doesn't fix the problem, or if you have already the last drivers, install them again. Alternatively try a Third-Party Viewer. Many residents use Phoenix or Firestorm. Good luck.

As reported in http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Login-failure/ta-p/700109 the message Login failed; Your account is not accessible until (date/time) — this usually means that your Second Life account has been administratively blocked. Short-term blocks (less than an hour) may be the result of inappropriate behavior inworld. Longer blocks are typically the result of abuse. You will be unable to use Second Life until the indicated time; if that is more than an hour away, you will receive an email from the abuse team on the matter. Be sure to check your spam filters. Linden Lab is unable to remove administrative blocks for abuse. One other cause you get this message is when you try to log in again after a crash. The server doesn't allow you to log in immidiately because it considers with simple words that you are still during the logging out process. That's believe happened to you. I don't think that you have to worry about. Just make some patience.

The message "Second Life: Items coming in too fast, automatic preview disabled for 10 seconds" which you see when you unpack stuff (don't worry about this message) has nothing to do with your orders. When you unpack boxes you find all the contests easily opening the second tab of your inventory called "Recent" except of you relog. If so you find them into your main inventory. About the things now you haven't got yet. Normally you have to wait up to 24 hours. That's what officially LL reports. If this time expires and you are sure that you didin't get your purchases and you haven't them in your inventory you have 2 options: a)Try to contact the merchant. Open your Dashboard --> Shopping --> Marketplace --> My Marketplace --> My account --> Order History --> If you see that your last purchases delivered means that the merchant got payed --> Take a copy of your last purchases (there you see the name of the merchant)--> Open your inventory --> create a New Notecard --> Paste there --> send the notecard to the merchant(s) describing what was happened and asking politely for redelivery. b)If you bought your items from Marketplace and if you have no a reply by the merchant, submit a ticket https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ --> Marketplace category --> Failed Marketplace Delivery. Explain analytically what was happened, include the order number and the name(s) of the item(s) that failed to be delivered and wait for a reply.
  15. Hello Wendy. Try to log in a different region. Protected lands like Smith, Exeuxoa or Anzere are recommended. If the problem remains, reboot your modem / router leting it closed for 2-3 mins and try again.

Try the following: Move to a region without lag, or better relog there. Protected lands like Smith, Exeuxoa or Anzere are recommended. Open your inventory type something in search there and wait fetching all your items till the last one. When fetching finishes, try to change outfit choosing choosing one with just the necessary stuff (skin, shape, hair, eyes, pants and shirt) without any attachments. Wait some seconds and rebake your textures with Ctrl+Alt+R. Repeat same process if it is necessary. If still you haven't fixed your problem, obviously you have corrupted files in your computer. If so, you have to delete them and to download new ones. To do that, delete all contests at the following folder and after repeat steps 1 and 2: C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife / If the folder Appdata is a hidden, --> Windows Tools \ Folder Options \ View & enable Show Hidden Files/Folders Good luck.

  22. Hello Cricket. There are several causes you get this message. Generally maybe: You have been banned by the parcel. You have been banned by the whole Estate. If so only the Estate owner or manage can unblock you The region requires PIOF (Payment info on file) and you haven't The region requires Age Verification and you haven't The region is offline Access is allowed only in Group and you haven't joined in In any case it is no a viewer problem, it is a configuration problem.
  23. Hello distresseddamsel and welcome to SL Forums. Disable VBO and see if that makes any difference. You find it under Menu Me --> Preferences --> Graphics --> Hardware --> Enable OpenGL Vertex Buffer Objects (disable this option). If the problem remains, download again the previous version of viewer 3 (3.2.1). You can find it here. In this case don't forget to set your software updates no to be installed automatically (Preferences --> Setup).
