I wonder if dna evidence that has been lab altered would be suitable evidence in a court of law....
  2. Sylvia Tamalyn wrote: I feel your pain, Dillon! I was all set to rack up a bunch of billable hours defending Lillie in the upcoming lawsuit, and she just had to ruin it by running out and getting that pic of Quinn (the faker!!) cast-less, thereby bringing the litigation to a screeching halt! /me sighs Good clients are so hard to find! I'll pay you for the time you put in.. Will you accept chocolate chip cookies? Or possibly home made cannolies?
  3. Dillon Levenque wrote: Quinn Morani wrote: It is the miraculous power of prayer. I am HEALED of my pain and suffering. The mental anguish however, lingers... Mental anguish? Mental anguish? How's this for anguish, sweety? I was shopping for a Porsche! Now it seems I'll be stuck with the Plymouth for another year. I told you once, I told you a hunnerd times: don't take the cast off. Sheesh. You know how hard it is to keep up with the ambulance in a Plymouth? Dillon, if it makes you feel any better, you never would have been able to buy a Porsche hubcap with what ever she might have gotten out of me.
  4. Sylvia Tamalyn wrote: I've been wondering the same thing, Lillie...what is Snugs' part in all of this? Could he (*gasp*) be Maddy's legal advisor?? Dee, I think you are on the right track, and we will be hearing some crazy theory about Maddy having pre-impregnation trauma to explain her attempts to kill us all in her fireplace, etc. Meanwhile, I would like to know who exactly is taking care of the 23 tentacle babies while she is on this killing spree??? I just don't know about Snugs, Sylvia. There was talk of calamari, so it could very well be that the tentacle babies are dwindling in number. I don't think Snugs has been much help to poor Maddy, so Post Partum Depression could be the answer. Is it possible that she set it up so that Quinn would fall off of my trampoline hoping it would divert attention while she was beginning murder plots? So many questions and no answers in sight.
  5. Sylvia Tamalyn wrote: Maddy is on a reign of terror lately, Quinn! She tries to kill me several times per week...one recent attempt was TPing me into the middle of a bunch of zombies (and if I recall correctly, she also made sure I landed in the middle of a train track). I'm thinking we need to all band together and focus our litigious impulses in *her* direction! (And I call dibs on her cannon if she agrees to settle out of court!) Sylvia, is it possible that Snugs is behind this? You know that Snugs must be upset about the whole 23 tentacled babies fiasco. Could it be Snug has been hijacking Maddy's avi?
  6. Lawsuits aside, I had a lovely chat with Maddy, Keli, and Gypsy around the fire last night It isn't all silliness and dancing, it's good to know our friends have a thoughtful side as well.
  7. Quinn Morani wrote: It is the miraculous power of prayer. I am HEALED of my pain and suffering. The mental anguish however, lingers... Wow Quinn, I think you're digging very deep here. I would think the power of prayer would be able to heal your mental anguish as well, if not better! Because I love you as a dear friend, I'm going to stick my neck out there. /me takes a deep breath.... Quinn, I think you have a problem. I think you're addicted to litigation! Please get help before it's too late and you end up Judge Judy seuing your neighbor for his grass clipping coming over to your side of the lawn.
  8. There are two points I would like to make: 1. My intial disclaimer that went something like 'I am in no way responsible for any accident or injuries that occur on my land" 2. Gypsy's photographic evidence of the girl goo. I wouldn't know, but one would assume that stuff is slippery.
  9. Let the truth be known!!! Watch your backs and your trampolines!
  10. Hi Foxy! There is never a dull moment with us, that is for sure. This is a fantastic group of very diverse people, and I'm honored to be part of them.
  11. Once again, we had a blast last night listening to Gypsy, and of course, true to our form, we look fantastic! And even more true to form, we got weird We have no shame, at least not when it comes to having fun with our favorite performers
  12. Thank you Quinn! Hahah What a night, and I never even got around to offering drinks! Can you imagine what it would have been like then! I'm beside myself at having met some of the most wonderful people in SL through the forum.
  13. I just noticed my original response is gone. I don't get that. Does anyone know what happened to it?

  15. Beautifully put Quinn! You have reflected exactly how I feel as well!
  16. I agree with Quinn, but it's also filled with bullies like you. Why must you insult and poke and pinch and bite at everyone whose views you do not agree on? You make reading otherwise, nice and thoughtful posts very acidic. I really do not understand how people like you think. You must be a very very unhappy man. As Quinn stated, I've met wonderful people here. I'm single in SL and RL. I've seen people bounce from partner to partner in SL, but I've seen that in RL as well. On a personal level, I would not want to have an intimate relationship in SL with a person who was not single in RL. Though it is a "cartoon world" there are real people behind those avatars, whether you like it or not. Lillie
  17. Dillon what an awesome post! I have made my very best SL friends off of this very thread! Each of us is different and we all have our reasons for who we are, and what we do. We can reach out to each other in a more candid way because we have the protection of animonity. Still, at the same time, we're revealing ourselves as we have never done before. I've had a few different conversations with my friends online regarding our differences. With one friend we touched on how we are different from our avatars. After thinking about that conversation I wrote this: "You are your own story. You tell your story not always with words. Your story is told by your eyes, by the set of your jaw, by the lines on your face. Each line is a clue to the mystery of who you are, earned by some event in your life, inspired by true stories. Every journey, every victory, every tragedy, each love and each loss is etched on your face. Every moment makes an impact on us, making us who we are. Shaping our hearts, minds, and bodies. We become our story through choice as well as circumstances. This makes us unique and beautiful, it gives us our character." I kind of think the same thing applies to our SL personalities. Many of us, use these as an extension of ourselves that we can't project in real life, or even things we can't physically or mentally do! While some may feel that the community has not been strengthed by this thread, I have been, and MY community has been! So thank you to all who contributed. *kisses* Lillie
  18. DQ Darwin wrote: Well that's not to bad.:) To date 1 decent answer, 1 sigh (post) and 3 the typical and expected weak attempts at negativity in true community form. Myself having no interest in the pet game of "Poke the Poster" will no longer reply to them. I see little humor in comments posted with the sole purpose of baiting regardless of the professed stature of those making them. Carry on. Some encouragement, Dee. At least you are making an attempt to incorporate some fun. I don't have a beef with anyone here but I don't understand the hateful need to be insulting. It makes one lose their perception of wittiness pretty quickly. Lurking, I've seen lots of comments made about the lack of posting on the forums. The reason I don't post is fear of having some snarky remark made at something stupid I've said. I don't like being a target, and I suppose most new people don't either, even most veterans don't. So for me, the reason I don't post much is the insatiable desire of some to fine something negative to say about everything. Off my box, Dee, I can't guarantee I can make it, but I think it's a pretty cool idea.
  19. Awesome idea! Thank you Hippie! :smileyvery-happy:
  20. Lia Abbot wrote: I feel like I'm among friends here, and that matters a lot. I know exactly what you mean! I say it over and over again, but I am thrilled to have made some wonderful friends here. We are all compliments to each other.
  21. Lia, I apologize, I thought I had written welcome back to you on my last post, but apprently I lost my train of thought. So, Welcome back!! :smileyvery-happy:
  22. DQ Darwin wrote: Lillie did slip into her maid outfit to the delight of all. lol:) Ahem, someone has to dust the street light every now and then. You know how guys are, I was sneezing the rest of the night. *aaaaachhhoooooooooooo* We always have fun on nights like these. Those who couldn't make it were missed of course, but as nutty as we all are, something crazy will happen again soon. Hugs! Lillie
