The Confederation of Democratic Simulators: Roman Regions Colonia Nova Region Coloinia Nova is one of the first Roman themed sims of Second Life. Colonia Nova was established in October 2006 as a representation of Roman Cologne, Germany which was known to the Romans as Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium. The region is divided between an urban walled city and surrounding countryside. It includes some impressive public buildings such as a bath, amphitheater and catacomb. The city walls are perhaps the cities dominant feature and are representative of the walls surrounding the Roman city at about 50 AD. Our Roman regions are not role play sims. Really, finding my homeland sim has given me a great many interesting friends and associates. As it is a democratic and resident run sim, many of us take a keen interest in the the development of builds and events. The Confederation of Democratic Simulators is the oldest democracy in Second Life. Originally founded in 2004 as the City of Neualtenburg in the Anzere region, the Confederation of Democratic Simulators (C.D.S.) is now a five-region community operated by the citizens. The five C.D.S. sims are: Neufreistadt, Colonia Nova, Alpine Meadows, Monastery and Locus Amoenus. The sims have loosely based Germanic or Roman themes, representing different historic periods. There are many fine parcles available for purchace in all our regions. All parcels convey votiing rights in our resident governed estate. And yet, as adult expands SL declines. I suppose one could say Adult has saved SL from total collapse as perhaps these regions would just have been lost if they could not be adult. I wonder if LL has any idea of the impact of the growth of Adult regions? I might also be true that a reliance on Adult, presumable sex, for SL's financial health might also supress many others from joining SL.

Hi I see that my ad was recently removed from the market place as a non-item listing. Yet the listing was for land on a private island and the key words all applied to our sim. Perhaps that might not seem so, but our sim is organized as a democratically governed micro-nation. There are five regions, three are alpine and two are Roman/Greek. The first sim, one of the oldest in SL, Neufreistadt, is a Bavarian town. We have regular elecions where citizens vote. The sim is very mountainous with three of the simb being alpine in theme. I do not remember all the keywords I used, but I think this descirption explains most or all of them. To me, the ad is similar to others on the Marketplace. It would be nice if one got an explanation for an acton to remove an ad. Merely pointing to a general section of the policy does not explain how that policy is being applied or inform one of the problem with the ad. Therefore, please reconsider your action to remove my ad or explain exactly what was wrong with it.
