    SLGone - What does this mean to LL?

    Seriously, why the fuss over the take over of a small company's patents and the assumption this would affect LL or SL?

    Slgo on OnLive was nice (and perhaps a SLifesaver)  for people on old machines and the occasional user on a tablet or iPad, but surely this discontinuation of a 3rd party service will not affect SL or LL.
    Sony purchased the patents of OnLive, that is all, and yeah it means discarding a service/product as SLGo, which is  collateral damage in a takeover and no big deal. Not for Sony and not for LL.

    Yes, I feel sorry for people losing their job in rl due to this, I really do. But it is how it goes.

    they said they had to go and I've been suspecting something, I searched for him in a group he is in and it said he was online!! I checked other groups they all said offline???

    so my question is why did this one group take 25 mins for them to say their offline? is it because that was the tag they was wearing if he had ticked the box and signed out to make out he was going?

    why would one group lag 25mins to register? I know he may read this but its killing me and better than comfronting feeling like this.

    Usually the sliding and not stopping, or delays in movement, are due to a connection problem. Have you tried to reboot your modem, completely off and on?

    (Even though you mention not having issues with an alt, I have found myself that Alts - with a lesser inventory, or empty even, always move better)

    And it's my whole point. I don't care if I get in there. I have a very full plate. That said, I'm very confident that others will be able to point out LL's mistakes to them.     Nvidia can, if you allow them,  via their Nvidia GForce Experience.

    I don't use the auto update for my Nvidia, but I dont use auto-update for anything, I rather choose my own moment,.

    Cathy Foil is the only dedicated Maya user in the forums that I know of. Chosen Few is another Maya user, more like a fanboy, that was on the forums alot. Him and I have worked together on a few projects outside of SL, and we argue over Maya and Blender quite a bit. Chosen has pretty much left SL tho, mostly because of the TOS, but I know he does do work for some SL merchants. I just worked with him on 2 games in the last 2 months, so I know he's around. It wouldn't surprise me if LL gets him to be in the alpha, cause he has actually done work for them before.

    So basically, you choose to ignore the actual texts as Innula has pointed out - in which Ebbe makes it clear Maya is just in the first rounds of testing for reasons LL will know and later they will incorporate A LOT of other softwares - I get the feeling you are just ranting about because you do not like or ..maybe, want or //gasp, maybe you cannot!, use Maya and so you focus on that specific alpha-testing phase and love to skip the rest.
