  1. Well, while Oberwolf is the chairman this does not mean he lives an active Second Life as a resident. Perhaps he first had to be fully briefed about what Second Life means and experience our virtual world first-hand. It is not uncommon for CEOs/Chairmen to not know all the ins and outs of their company's product or service. When he puts out an official statement with his name under it, he needs to be sure he knows what he is talking about. Then there are probably lots of interviews with the people involved, meetings with the external investigators, legal etc. So yeah, this takes time. I, for one, am not surprised it took a few weeks.
  2. It's from (fd), currently at Collabor88 🍓

  4. In RL: I would stop working, make sure my Dad gets the best, unlimited, (medical) care for the rest of his life, get a nice piece of land to make a private dog park for my dogs (they don’t like other dogs….), buy an electric car and a heat-pump for my house. In SL: getting a few regions. One to live on and some for friends to use as they please.
  5. That only works when one uses a viewer that has the derender option. I am always in the SL viewer, so that sign adds up to blocking the view 🤪
  6. I’ve been living on mainland, on the same parcel, since 2009. Other parcels around me get sold every so often and new neighbours arrive. Some keep their land empty, some decorate it nicely, and occasionally there is one that puts up horrible stuff like huge walls. I’ve never asked anyone to remove walls, only when something is hanging over the parcel border. My experience is that most of those neighbours -with a need for walls - move out in a few months, probably to a place where they get even more privacy. If you like your place, try to sit it out and see how long that renter will stay.
  7. I don't consider it bad and I see no problem. Nor does my alt.
  8. I explore a lot and I have no problem in dressing to theme if that's required. Same for going to clubs. However, I will not edit my shape, height, skin, gender or species. I've been ejected from maybe 2 or 3 regions in all those years, due to being too short, I don't care enough to remember the places. On a few occasions, I've been asked to change my elf ears into human ears, to which I complied (and kept the visit short) If I know upfront, like going to Berlin 1920s - I make sure my ears are human and the outfit is good to go (I will even remove my too-modern make-up). If I don't feel like changing anything, I don't go. The funniest ejection was probably from a well-known ballroom, for not wearing panties under my very decent gown (I totally forgot about them!). The hostess must have been a fanatic panty-checker. I just laughed.
  9. Gossiping Begging Unsolicited advice on improving my avatar, clothes, hair etc. Starting a conversation with questions about my real-life Dancing/standing way too close to me, when there is more than enough room for everyone
  10. Keep those drinks coming, I'm going to win the jackpot!
