  1. I noticed this also. 16,000 to 950. But my homestead sim is almost contually full (set to 16 avatars max). Anyone file a JIRA on this yet? gawd I hate going over there. Something like this and getting a direct LL response is like finding the magic bean.

  5. I have a black swiss dotted ballgown from Whispers that still turns heads after 4 years. A Blaze evening dress, sheath style that clings perfectly to every curve that is almost 4 years old that I never tire of. An Eshi even gown is gorgeous red chiffonAND one is red hot satin that always elicits compliments that is uhm, 3 years old now. A pair of raggedy jeans from Naima that everytime I wear them I get at least one person who asks me where I bought them. My extensive Last Call collection never seems to grow long in the tooth. My Redgrave biker boots always feel comfy, as do all my Bax and Bukka Boots. My SG heels for no toes look, always fit perfect alas she is out of business for some time now.

For cosmetics: Mock Cosmetics, Chelle, CCD (have 100's but I grab these first) For nails: Pixel Mode, MANDALA I left out hundreds of different brands I I frequent but don't always buy from but do have a few items I adore. When it's all said and done, I buy it if it's "my" style du jour AND I think it is well made. I shop EVERY day and share the wealth. I just love shopping! What I do not buy.. ass crack jeans, mini-skirts that reveal ass cheeks & crotches, sculpted skirts without alpha layers included, low cut tank tops (bought a fat pack of standard tanks at Nyte & Day 4 years ago that suits every need for those), anything that blings (slight sparkle is alright), and I never buy from a designer again if I find UNFINISHED EDGES OR MISMATCHED SEAMS ANYWHERE. I can name more than a few top (cough cough) designers who do this and it fries my ass (PET PEEVE)!!! I also have to reallllllly like something to buy it and it is not modify (especially pants) or does not come on all layers.
  7. Nice ensemble Emil, but showed this to Sutra and he said loose the girly low scoop neck and the long graduated string of beads. He liked the jeans though wasn't sure about the length shown, if the pants weren't mod he would pass, he doesn't like to look like he is wearing waders. Also the coat is not his style either make it trenchcoat length or mid-hip. I somewhat agree, the scoop neck is feminine. And the jacket I agree on the length. I do like the fact it has an overall look thoughtfully put together, something many men don't do and unfortunately some women don't do either. AND I will also jump in here and say... nice shape! Realistic! I am always making Sutra tweak DOWN his biceps and shoulders. LOL. They seem to magically puff up if he 1) is left on his own or 2) goes out to ride his motorcycle. LOL. Guys in SL have this mistaken (to me anyways) idea that layering on the testerone & with mishappen he-man hulk builds is the way to look. This "warped" idea is what gives female designers pause. Women's curve are bad eough to tweak around but men's.. it's a bigger nightmare all it's own. Having 1200 inch chests and 50 inch biceps really wreaks havoc on a design texture, as do CC+ boobage & ba donk a donk rear real estate. At least guys won't be infected with the current shape du jour of wide crotches. :::shivers in disgust::: when I see the plethora of PUG shapes hitting the grid. Big eyes, big frowning nbig lipped, wide hipped big vrotched shapes OMG. What is that? We have humans, furries, tinies, critters, dolls, robots... anyone officially name this new breed of character yet?
  8. LOL Six... like I said Yul Brenner... Telly baby there, not so much.
  9. PET PEEVE ALERT - Men must be confined to the inside of a hollow 10m cube until they learn to wear BOTH shoes and pant cuffs AT THE SAME TIME. Also baldies, gotta go. Only 2 men look good bald, 1 is Yul Brenner the other is Mr Clean. And him not so much. Bad jewelry has to go. For anyone, but guys wear some really clunky stuff. More coordinated outfits. Some men are clueless. Perhaps SL attracts them. Female designers who design for men that make them look feminine. There is a niche for that I know. Hwever, lots a guys aren't inot Euro styles. They like down home clothes. Sad but true, old t-shirts and jeans is the most comfy and what they seek. Point blank, for the most part, they need a girl guide to truck them through the shops.
  10. I have been checking search "everything" for Christmas and see a parcel with less trafficc than mine, with an avrage of 7 to 10 people present when I check the map. On my sim, there has been 12 to 20 during the same searches and my parcel has not achieved the icons. Is there some criteria I am missing? What is the formula for achieving ACTIVE population on a parcel? TIA! :)
  11. Zooby pets do NOT, as a rule, require feeding and drinking. Pet food & water bowls are added as an additional dimension to your pet owning experience, allowing your pet interaction appear to be more realistic. Zooby does have a monkey line called TRAINAPETS. Here while food is NOT required to maintain your monkey, it is required if you wish your Trainapet monkey to learn a trick. Info boards are provided in the trainapet area. At this time, no pet from Zooby is required to be fed. Your pet will not die, disappear, derez, etc. if it is not fed. Feeding is almost always a requirement of BREEDABLE pets such as Scion chickens, Ozimal bunnies, Amaretto horses, etc etc.
  12. Along the lines of what was originally posted a designer created items like that, itsy bitsy and detailed fun items like circus wagons (my personal favorites). I found her during the last jewelry expo, it was the hit of my time there. Bought just about everything she made. The store name is/was Doodad's. She had a small shop on the Elliot sim before it was going to down the tubes. I don't know what happened to her. Haven't found her again anywhere.
  13. Try looking at Ingenue. At one time she had a very fun robe, head towel, cuccomber slices for the eys, etc. to simulate a nice spa day.
  14. Thank you for the comeback Maghnus. I realize this thread isn't for trouble shooting, but the quick skinny, did it all. Literally. I changed nothing prior to this fiasco. I was in 2.2 happy land with my tat layers. LOL. When this began, I had crashed, then logged back in to.. gray textures and scullpty balls and ovals. Even after FIVE hours of troubleshooting this fiasco, it remains 99% grey and no sculpty rezzing. Frankly, I was beginning to wonder if it was server side but so no annoucements. Totally clueless why 1.235, regular 2.1 and Phoenix are fine, but beta 2.2 hit the crapper on me. So now I am in Phoenix stuck with 1 tattoo layer.
  15. I really like the features of 2.2 tho I feel it's too clicky and info overload. But, I've been a supporter of the new enhancements and sad to say I am unable to use it since yesterday. I guess the shared cache between viewer flavors is a big issue and one that caused me hours of aggravation yesterday. I am pretty pleased with 2.2 and decided to remove 2.1 and 1.235. Logged back into 2.2 and all gray and no sculpty rezzes. (sigh) Rebooted, fiddled with settings, rebooted, reinstalled. I even removed everything about SL from mys stem including any registry settings. Reinstalled on a different hard drive and assigned my cache to a thrid drive. Log in all is gray and non-rezzing sculpties. Textures "I made", in inventory, on buildings not loading on prims or by opening the pics. No clue what happened to 2.2. Reinstalled 1.235 works fine. I finally ended up installing Phoenix in the interim.
  16. Mixed reactions here on this release. Pro: Undocking Con: Not remembering undocked items & locations of them Pro: Edit outfit mode is much faster than before. Con: Be nice if all things showed a slot to attach to and detach from rather than the simplistic add/wear options. BUT on the otherhand I imagine overhead for slots would be lagolicious. Con: Failed TP log outs. (sigh) This is a major PITA. Just fil the damn things, why log us out? Con: Slow rendering sculpties (yes renderVolume is at 5) and graphics very tedious to load. Neither are a problem in v1.235. Sculpty load problems are a problem in ANY v2+ flavor I have tried (Emerald, Phx, Imrudence, Kirsten, ad nauseum). While most render I end up with oddball weirdness on a few that won't render no matter what I do (relog, clear cache, rebake, take off, put on again). Regular textures, well if they aren't in cache and there are more than 6 avies on a sim, it can take 15 minutes or more to get out of grey mode. ugh. I have diligently tried (and tried and tried...) to be faithful to 2+ since it arrived. It has improved, no doubt, but some things are just game breakers no matter what flavor of viewer is your 2+ viewing choice. At the end of the day, v1.25 is so superior in being the least troublesome in all areas, for me. But, as I stated, I try try try, why? I love layers! I love tats & I love alpha options. PLEASE DO MORE BUG FIXES!
