I wonder, if there is any Mainland sim, which is meant for shops? I have about 800sqm mainland left, and would like to place a shop -- but where?

It's not a PS Plugin, it's another version of PS. You need Photoshop Extended for 3D capabilities. Don't think there is something like this in GIMP. Not yet at least. But (at least for Photoshop) it is more you can see it on the Avatar. Well, yes you can also draw something on it. But only can use if for rough paintings and marks. Which can be very helpful though.

There is only one type. Seems this seller also provides the alpha TEXTURE itself. So if the alpha did not hide enough (or too much) the customer and export the alpha texture, change it and then change the alpha layer.

I hate facelights. Used them in my newbie days .. but hey, I had bling shoes there also!! :-P But people like to look like living lamps in the dark... But anyway ... I just disabled "render attached lights on avatars" and now I am happy, I don't have to see them anymore.

Can confirm this, same for me. Viewer crashes before Login-Screen appears. No problems with stable viewer... so I wait for the next version.. ;-) Edit: found a Jira: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-29092

Das sieht ja mal witzig aus... :-P Also Tattoo-Layer trägst du nicht, oder? Du könntest mal den Test-Avatar probieren (toggle Avatar). Develop Menu > Avatar > Character Tests > Toggle Male (so im Englischen) Dann hast du mal wieder einen schönen SL noob Avatar. Dann vielleicht nochmal Cache löschen, viewer neu starten und danach deinen normalen Shape/Skin wieder anziehen. Einen Versuch ist es wert.

Ugly and sad. Not my cup of tea and I have no idea why some people think it looks good. But ... it's a matter of taste and SL is free. Thankfully.

*winks* Hallöchen, dann meld ich mich auchmal. Ich habe einen Shop im Marketplace und auch einen Store inworld, der Name ist Blackbird Revolution . Ich verkaufe Schmuck, Klamotten und Schuhe. Ansonsten bin ich noch live Musikerin in SL, aber das zählt wohl nicht so unter "Merchant". :-P

Was für Hardware nutzt du denn? Hast du ausser der Firewall auch ein Antivirus-Programm wie Norton installiert? Manchmal langt es nicht nur SL zu erlauben, es müssen auch bestimmte Ports freigeschalten sein. Kannst du die SL Webseite secondlife.com erreichen oder geht das auch nicht? Ein Freund von mir hatte auch schon das Problem, dass bestimme Netgear router nicht mit SL klarkommen weil die da irgendwas blocken was SL braucht. Der musste echt den router austauschen, dann ging es wieder.

Manchmal hilft, den Router neu zu starten. Einen Versuch ist es wert!

For clothes and skins you should upload an image 512x512 px tga or png. 256 px may be too less, only using this size for small items like jewellry.
