If there's unscheduled maintenance on a weekend (like today), I would assume it's due to something fairly serious and unforeseen that needs to be addressed immediately, such as some hardware failure of critical hardware or something along those lines.

I've had cashout transactions processed in as little as 28 or 29 hours since the change. The faster processing speed is nice but the new fees do seem a bit high, and an extra $2 minimum per transaction can really add up over the course of a year if you're used to cashing out fairly frequently. I fondly remember the days of the SL Exchange / Xstreet where we could cash out more or less instantly most of the time. I think there was a $1 fee for that too but don't remember for sure now.

The relatively sudden and relatively rapid decline is troubling. I don't know the cause but hoping it's only a temporary phase. From my recollection, for the longest time (several years I think), the top sell price (the one you could count on) was at L$247 for selling your L$ within a week (usually less) and L$248 if you wanted to sell within minutes. I think that crept up L$1 in recent months. But this change of about L$10 seems to have occurred in the span of only a month. Perhaps come the start of next month (when more people generally have a bit more money) it will slow or reverse...I hope. Any other thoughts on what this sudden trend in the L$ drop means or the cause of it? As for raising prices--if the L$ drop is because people are buying fewer L$, raising prices likely would be counter productive at this point I'm afraid.

Dear Linden Lab Community Manager, I have a few imporrtant questions regarding the new Skill Gaming Policy changes. Linden Lab's policy defines a "Creator" as follows: “Creator” shall mean a Second Life resident recognized by Linden Lab through the Skill Gaming application process as the creator of an approved Skill Game, in accordance with Linden Lab’s requirements. Questions: If a resident is hired by another resident to build the physical prims for a game of skill or to write a script for the game of skill, is the hired builder and/or scripter the "creator" of the game of skill or is the person who hired them considered the creator? Does a builder or scripter need a license to be hired to create a game of skill or is the license only required for the person offering the game for sale and distbution and/or operating it? If the scripter or builder is considered a creator, what happens if they're hired to create a game that doesn't pay out L$ but the script is then modified by someone else so that it does? Likewise, what if someone else's previously created scripts (or build) are used in a game of skill? The original scripter or builder or game creator may have no control over this use if they previously sold the scripts/build with full permissions.

The owner-only restriction does seem rather odd. The majority of teleporters are intended for use by many more avatars than just the owner so it certainly seems like a lot of effort to create a function with such limited use. And given that the teleport function requires the user to grant permission, it's hard to understand why this limitation has been added. Does this restriction make sense to anyone?
