    Don't you have it backwards? Meet first, chat, decide if you like the person/have things in common, etc and THEN become friends.  That's how I do it.

    You cannot control how others may see your avie. Different windlights, not rezzing completely, etc.  As long as you set up your avie to please yourself you're a success.

    Tip:  When trying on anything: skin, hair, clothing, etc set your windlight to Nam's Optimal Skin and Prim to check out the goods before purchasing. Demo everything initially until you find some  designers you can trust.

    You made your specifications all in writing, yes? You agreed to a contract with deliverables and payments, yes? I don't see the problem then.

    You are not being scammed if you are the one who initiated the deal.  If there was nothing in writing, then thank them and exit the engagement.

    Never accept 'gifts' from avatars you do not know.  Also, don't drink and drive.

    I realize this is a shot in the dark given the present population of this forum but I thought I would try anyway.  It appears that Kylie Jaxxon has departed from SL and perhaps RL, too.  Her avie has been canceled, her blog is gone, her presence on other social media sites has disappeared, she has removed herself from the group affiliated with her lovely sim, The Trace Too.

    She was ill several months last year/this year, underwent treatment and was reported to be in remission.  Then, she disappeared.  Someone who claims to know her in RL reported that Kylie had passed away.  Can anyone else confirm, please?

    Sad news, indeed.  Anyone who visited the various incarnations of The Trace and The Trace Too knows how wonderfully she crafted landscapes/environments.  She was kind and generous.

    The only solution may be to move your sims, rename them, so that those griefing you cannot find you.  I assume you have already decided that you cannot limit access to group members only.  I know of one popular blues club that had to do that for awhile because they were being griefed all the time.  It worked.
