honestly sitting here shaking my head... I know you dident jump my bones but I did see that red notice and while its now 2023 that was along time ago and felt by now it should have been resolved. also the new resident part seems misleading.. mainly hearing new resident sounds like someone under 15 days old or such and my account is 2 years old so I am not a new resident.. I guess from a outside point of view where info is limited being it was that long ago it was fixed but I suppose not.. also shaking my head at the lack of forums discussing this. if this was the case maybe they should have updated or said exactly what you just said which would have not prompted this discussion. before everyone jumps my bones.. I have read the forum but there is no place for me to list my parcel for auction like it says, I have also dug and found nobody is telling how to do it besides a forum a few years ago. nobody is buying my parcel so I thought why not set it up for auction but in the place tab there is no such option. I uploaded pictures, description and my account is premium plus. I also unlisted the parcel for sale and no option.. not sure why its this hard what am I missing? please help?

Well if that's the case then they must be in the cases of scrapping the online profile system maybe that's just their way of slowly shutting it down because like I said if I go into second life and do exactly what they say the second life profile itself changes my images but if I go to the web my pictures on the web are still the same they will not change even though that's what it tells me to do so that's why I made a thread asking if I'm doing something wrong or what's going on I'm a premium plus member so I upload for free anyway so I didn't know that was the case of uploading but regardless it just feels like Everything is really stopped on the online portion of it which is sad because it was a way for you to kind of be mobile

So not sure if anyone else has noticed but the second life profile page on the web wont let you change your profile picture anymore instead you have to go in the second life viewer but it only changes the actual pictures in the games profile page not the web, are we not stuck with the ones that are on the web and the other question is... is the web version getting trashed? there is no way to change them from the actual web anymore so now im stuck with the pictures I put up a while back. anyone know why?

Looks like many more replies beat me to this topic but I would like to put in my own say as well so for me I just run an HP Envy 360 it's a 2020 model with 12 gigs of RAM, with Intel core i7 11th generation, if you do decide to run a laptop anybody that reads this a cooling mat is really necessary you can get a good one on Amazon for cheap I bought mine for $60 which has two turbo fans on it with four speeds it keeps the laptop pretty cool as far as my settings go I can run my settings in between medium and high though I don't have advanced Lighting on all that fancy stuff laptop is always on the cooler and I have absolutely no problems sometimes it is limiting if I go to Big Daddy's Rock Club and there is a lot of people or a shopping event it does seem to impact my experience a little bit but there's a preference mode to where I can go to Performance balanced quiet or cool I usually put it in performance mode again no problem no I must say that at the time I bought the laptop for photography and blender projects so the laptop is about 1600 but I prefer to be portable and not strapped to a freaking wall. Laptops do have their limitations but if you get around that by the portability and be able to take it anywhere just slip on your hotspot on your phone you're good to go, if you have reached this far you could always go to Facebook Marketplace and look for a used gaming computer instead of going out there and spending a whopping 1600 on a computer that you may not even like for gaming just spend three to four hundred on an already put together gaming PC and give it a test run not sure if anybody found this helpful but either way good luck

okay so I just sold my first property! now I'm looking to move in another part of second life, my main question would be.. I love the premium neighborhood that comes with getting your linden home but with only 300 prims its not a lot to work with and was wondering if there are other neighborhoods in second life like that where its like a housing track or lines of houses? or is it just open land with properties scattered everywhere and people just build as they like? if anyone could help that would be so awesome and I would be thankful!

OHHHHH MY GOODNESS!!! I swear... I freakin swear I tried everything besides that... yup thats a great start I got going here on the forum >__< you will also have to excuse my lingo for second life, still fairly new and not sure until now they were called DEMO Appliers. thank you so freakin much!

just as the tittle says.. the first was double eyes and now.. I am building my LeLutka Evo X head and wanted some eyebrows.. the person on market place had a demo and so when I opened it there were BOM brows which add and done, there was another thing that was a HUD that had the same brows in it except it was point and click, now how do I remove the eyebrows now?? they just say demo and wont remove when I take the skin off.. so now im stuck with demo eyebrows. help??

okay after a bunch of hair pulling later!! I was able to get it to work and for the next person who has this issue the fix I did to make it work and thank you to the above people who helped as well! first I stripped everything down, took off all the layers and only had the bare bones (body and head) started with my Maitreya body, added that and the Alpha and in the HUD Turned on bakes on mesh, went to the Kaya head and put on the head 3.1, then in the main head folder there will be 3 ALPHA'S! I used the + ALPHA ( BOM + BODY - APPLIER EYES ) which made the system eyes go away and to make her have blank eye sockets. from there I added my Glam Affair skin and tattoo layer and that had fixed the issue. coming from LAQ where as its just click apply type deal I have no idea what BOM is like until now, I hope this helps because trying to google search this was a dead end!
