  1. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Metis/222/79/22 2864sqm 983prims on protected water. Close access to a lot of fun open water on Sansara. Sailable through the large network of connected waterways and open seas. You can easily get to Mare Secondus, Sea of Fables, as well as The Bay of Space Pigs. Want more adventure then make your way to the channel connecting to the Heterocera continent and sail all of the waterways and open seas there. It is a great place if boating is your thing. Also great if you just want a home on the water and plenty of room and prims to build your home here. The best part of all; The price! $18,750 ($6.5/sqm) 😃
  2. I am new to buying land and just really started a few months ago and got hooked. It is a lot of fun. Finding little plots for myself to decorate and enjoy all over the grid is great. Love the treasure hunt aspect to look at the map and finding that 4x protected water parcel for $2/sqm. Fun and profitable. For the land selling veterans out there; Is there a pattern as to how land sales go throughout the year? Are they slower in the summer? Better in the winter when more people are on? I'm trying to learn the flow of it as when I started land sales were quick and easy and recently just stopped to a crawl and curious if that is just how it is when summers hit the northern hemisphere.
  3. Connecting all of the continents would be wonderful and increase interest in the mainland. Getting rid of ban lines would also help us who enjoy boating around the mainland. If you aren't familiar with the area you are sailing in then your trip usually ends very quickly with ban lines. I appreciate the ones who don't allow object entry as at least then you can drag your boat out and continue boating rather than having it immediately returned. zero warning orbs would also have to go as nothing worse than getting TP'd home with no warning at all. Boating on SL is not easy. Would be nice to see some changes made for us sailors.
  4. Or post in the Land for sale Forum to get eyes on land they just want to rent. In the end we should rent land from the good landlords out there. I don't rent from the big landlords as they are just in it for the profit and that is fine. I want the small landlord to have my money instead. Never had any issues and made some friends too. Same with everything else on SL. I stay away from the big guys that are just pushing to make profit and shop at the small builders and creators instead as they are equally as talented and have had great experiences with them compared to a lot of the more popular creators. Stick with the mom and pop shops and landlords.
  5. Fun watching people pretend to be master economists and great business people giving their opinion without having any data or financial records at all to back up any of it. Thrilling.
  6. What I have learned from the 14 pages is that some people have way too much time on their hands, mainly the one who started this.
  7. $6750 last time it is reduced and a great price. I just have too much land and need to sell some off.
  8. Reduced to $24,950 for 4016sqm and 1378prims. That is a great deal.
  9. These 2 parcels are connected. Buy one or buy both for a great large parcel on 3x protected water or buy one on 2x protected water. Both are wonderful. Smaller parcel is 1264sqm and 433prims on 2x protected water. $8900 $7/sqm Larger one is 2096sqm 719prims and also on 2x protected water. $14950 $7/sqm Priced to sell. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Deimos/229/200/22
  10. Perfect place to have a rental if that is your thing. Higher traffic area being it is on a popular roadway.
  11. I need to let this go as I have too much land. $1750. Beautiful spot in the Fishers Rest area of the grid which is a great seaside area and also on the Circuit La Course roadway!! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Fourd/8/240/31
  12. I've purchased roadside, SLRR, and water abandoned parcels. I believe it only goes to auction when more than one person submits a ticket to claim it or if it is Adult rated land. Under 512sqm seems to be where it is a case by case decision if you do not already own land in that region. Which is fine and I understand why but abandoned land just doesn't look good for SL. One would think having regions without abandoned land would be the goal to keep SL in a healthy place.
  13. Map search works really well and how I find 95% of land I own or have bought. I also use the forum but not sure if land sales came from there or from people searching the map. Well priced land sells quickly. Things do get slow at certain times of the year.
