I thought it was nice that one of the gifts at their booth was a bunch of clothes for it. Like 10 outfits. I probably don't need another body, but if i do decide to get it, I can't say I have nothing to wear! I gave it a serious look, but I think what I mostly wanted was to recreate the makeup look they'd done on the model. It was really pretty.

Oh, I'm not planning to get any more, for what it's worth. I've got what I need for my purposes, and there isn't any more adjacent abandoned land without crossing sims and the annoyances that come with that.

When you went to PP and got another 1024, that brings the amount of land you use down from 4096 to 3072. But as it turns out, that is still in the same tier increment. You get changed the same for everything between 2049 and 4096 .. in this case lowering the land you used by 1024 did not help with the tier increment you are in.

Lunaria is inexpensive and has some fun ones with a touch of fantasy, like fairy lights in them or fantasy colors. (There's more than one Lunaria. This is the one by Larinda Ravenheart.)
If you want to spend more lindens, Hayabusa has some fun stuff too.

Piggybacking on this, if I switched to Premium, and I own mainland instead of a Linden Home, should I be getting reduced tier? Because that's the idea I got. I've got 5120 now, and I got the impression that with P+ I'd be getting 2048 of it free instead of the 1024 I got free before. But my tier has remained the same.
That's not the only reason I switched, and I plan to stay switched, but just trying to figure out if I misunderstood or if it's something to file a support ticket about.

I think it really clicked when I found a facial mole that was positioned very close to where I have one in RL. Like..."ok, now it's me!" When I switched to EvoX, one of the things I just had to do before making the switch was find one in almost the same place.
(It's apparently not a fashionable place to put one! It was harder to find than you might think.)

DeeTalez also has a full head skin that's pretty freckled, called Hanna. I like it a lot.

I like Vista's walks and runs, and have MacGyvered them into AOs I bought elsewhere. Specifically I know I liked some of the options in Lara and in Mara Ferrez. I think you can buy the runs separately.

It may have been an applier skin. You may be able to remove it by going into the layers tab of your body HUD.
Edited to add: And if it's on your lowest layer ("skin" rather than "tattoo"), you'll probably need to replace it with something else instead of just removing it.

Nice workaround @CandyCole! Yeah, what is it with the Legacy toe skin, lol. My mAlt had TMP and I had a Legacy skin on him, and I switched him to Jake and now his feet look like he has some horrible disease. If I ever need him barefoot again I'm gonna have to go buy another body skin!

I get annoyed sometimes when I think "I have the perfect outfit for that event!" and then realize it's an SL outfit that I cannot magically download to RL and wear.

I once added my whole hair folder, and every time I removed a hair, it would free up an attachment point and add another hair. I was trying to replace current outfit, but the whole thing was lagging me so badly that even that took forever.
Another time I added my whole folder for one of my RP sims. This wasn't as bad as it could have been, because it was largely notecards, but it did mean i ended up wearing a giant mock-up of their stage area that they gave us for when we were making sets for hosting.
I deleted my house multiple times as a noob, and once as a non-noob managed to *return* a house I didn't even own. I was trying to click a weird thing that wouldn't seem to delete, and finally just decided to return it to myself, except it was actually a particle effect and I was really clicking the house. That was an embarrassing convo to have with the landlord!

I know Velour has a muscular body skin option. I think one tone of it was a freebie last Christmas? Anyway, I know it exists.

Yes, in real life, you try it on in the dressing room, but if you want to take a few minutes longer, you aren't automatically ejected from the dressing room naked. Sometimes a store is laggy and some of the 5 minutes is taken up with rezzing.
I agree that the MP doesn't need to give you the direct SLURL to the product. But either have a demo *in MP* or at least keep your store URL updated. Many times I've followed the store link and ended up falling out of the sky into vacant rental property, or in someone's house being ejected by their security orb. It's one thing if the creator is just gone. But sometimes these will be creators who still have the store, just never bothered to update their Inworld Store link.

Grumble has picked up GenX and I've been able to get some group and hunt gifts for it recently! They're often in a neon 80s/90s palette but fun and not too revealing.

I remember that one! There was artwork in the S&H store that would have been nice, but nope, it had to be a house and you had to personally contact them before trying to use it too. I deleted it.
DRD's was fantastic and generous and I got a couple of fun things with it!

I'm Premium Plus and considered abandoning my mainland and grabbing one of these, but tbh, I want to keep my mainland; I've put a ton of work into it. So instead I'm letting the ranch theme inspire me to ranch-up one of my rentals. *inventory search for: wagon wheel, rustic, horse, logs...* 😂

I do the giant dorky prim. What I want to know from a demo is (a) how it fits, (b) whether I can mix and match the textures (bless you, designers who include a Single Hud and a Fatpack Hud so I can tell the difference), and whether it clips with whatever I want to wear it with.

My usual one for my male alt is Sintiklia Dylan (which is free, here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Sintiklia-Hair-Dylan-GIFT-FREE/24438059) They have some others for dudes as well. He wears it with a hairbase to fill in the rest of his scalp.
