I think such a Carl Sagan Museum would gather less traffic than the International Spaceflight Museum or the Star Trek Museum (though I don't know if that still exists), but it definitely would be worth a visit (or several).
I loved the Star Trek museum, even though there were no 'live' characters, and sure, the Enterprise could have been better. In fact I would have lived on it if rooms had been available. But I miss it as it was a fun place to chill out and fly a shuttle.

Do you believe it's possible that realities exist which cannot be measured? Or that will never be able to be measured by the human mind?
A good question, and one which certainly has possibilities. I think our reality is bound by human perception. Such as the visible spectrum. It's now generally accepted that space time is intertwined. On Star Trek they had 'Sub Space', so I consider the unknown space-time-quantum world to be just that!
We've also had our share of supernatural experiences, and whatever is going on, it's outside normal reality. So yeah, I have an open mind on everything, unlike some of my friends who stubbornly refuse to even consider anything beyond accepted reality. I suppose I'm a bit of a geek, but I watch a lot of science programmes!

All that matters is you keep an open mind. A few of my close friends have what amounts to a binary belief ethos, and won't budge from their position.
Even when I use the flat earth example, which was once an absolute. Only an open mind could lead to the truth.......
It amazes me that wifi is invisible. It amazes me that I can zap my car alarm through glass. It amazes me that holding the keyfob against ny head increases the range...(try it). It amazes me to watch stuff about quantum physics and that all this is going on "invisibly".
So I have an active enquiring open mind about everything. Maybe that's for my profile!🤔

Here's a funny thing.
I never drink coffee at home. Ever. At home it's tea with a square of dark choc, at least 80%.......🍵🍫
BUT, when I was locked up in an office full of boredom, I drank lots of coffee, usually with a triple choc muffin, every week day........☕☕☕☕☕

Thanks for this, I might just give it a try. I've only tried one um, 'accessory', a long time ago and it just looked terrible, like a stuck on cover...........
Can't remember the brand but VAW seems worth a look.

😎 All of the above. In particular the gushing quotes which seem to be the choice of the 'experienced vet' guy. Always meaningless fluff.
Then the huge list of adult groups/sims, which are guaranteed to raise my shields...
The guys with a partner showing..........
And badly constructed sentences of course.
But then again, I should spend time on my own profile.......😄😄

Most guys don't read profiles. If they did they would know when I'm out with one of my sisters that she's my alt.....

No, but early on I got asked if I was a real person.

Some of you know that I'm struggling with the fact that my sister Ellie is better looking than me! I know I should be happy for her but the green eyed monster is alive and well, and I do have green eyes...…..…. *checks in mirror*…………...
I tried Ellie's slider values, but it made me look chubby in my face so that didn't work well...………..
Anyhow, I've had time to play with the latest Genus release, and I think I'm settling with Baby Face. Ellie is Classic. Maybe I'll do a bit more slider work on my look, but I'm happy with how I look anyway. It wasn't until E|llie showed up that I felt pangs of jealousy, even though I don't want to look like her...………… So, enough waffling...…..
The first picture is my morning look, just after adding the skin, so no make up or any hud work.
The second picture is exactly the same except I've added some quite low key make up, and the difference is amazing!!

Welcome to Second Life!
Do I get a badge to sew on my sleeve?
Like errr, "managing bad shopping experiences"?
I must admit I'm spending less in MP because of this, and it's a pain in the butt having to transfer money to my alts and send them shopping in world, or sometimes on MP...…..

Me too. Occasionally ultra slow before crashing. Sometimes the first tp after logging on.
I'm also still seeing problems in MP where I sometimes get 'page not found' when trying to buy, and stuff drops out of my basket for no reason. It can all be managed but it's way less reliable than when I started here.

Sorry BelindaN, this thread appears to be in response to another. But, we can stay “on topic” by making sure we are discussing Second Life.
Such a relief that I shouldn't have got it!! haha!

So what's the point of this topic? Serious question. Because I don't get it really. Is it trolling? Is there a hidden joke I'm not getting?
All this misquoting and chain quoting, and arguing minutae?? Maybe this is USA humour whooshing over my head, but I'm not receiving much more than static?
Just asking...……..

Philosophy, a long conversation which produces nothing of worth, but on a cold night it is far better than staring at the walls.
Of a padded cell? 🤔
