    Breaking News

    It has come to the attention of The Agency that a small number of undisclosed replicants, known as Alts, are infiltrating the Community Forums. Agent Smith has been instructed to investigate, and if possible, to round them up and bring them in. Enquiries are continuing, and several suspects have been detained and questioned.

    Intelligence reports suggested that a replicant might be holed up in a derelict building at Lutz City, where Agent Smith staked out the place overnight. We await further news on developments there. If you suspect that anyone might be an undisclosed replicant, you should immediately notify The Agency, who will despatch additional Agent Smiths into the field.

    Some of the Flickr images have a load of favs, views, or both. Those with high numbers seems to have lots of followers and post in many groups. 

    Those Flickr peeps that do avatar images I find outstanding I post a comment and point them here.

     

    I love the eyes. I think it all works well together very well.

    ...and those LIKES... they mean something... someone did decide to click. I doubt we can ever know what they mean. My clicks vary depending on my mood. Some I like the color, others the composition, some the emotion, or the person is just; cute, sexy, exotic, elegant, shapely, studly...  The flat 2D-ish without shadows or contrast I tend not to click on nor on dark stern looking ones... some of them are good photos they just don't fit my taste. 

    I figure a click is some kind of positive feedback... even if we aren't sure what is meant... we can pretty much infer whatever we want.

    In general this group is kind and encouraging. 

     

    The thing we have here, is like a collaborative cooperative...…(big words for me 9_9), but I agree that likes do mean something, it's like a thumbs up. I wish we had a double like...…...

    Flickr is good, but doesn't embed what we enjoy here. I was scrolling through some of the SL flickr pages last night, and some of the images are just Wow!!!!!, but I reckon a lot of the posters work alone, without a community like we have here...…...

    I've had a great day, starting out with shopping, then clubbing for a while, then Breakfast Club, then the beach.

    Three changes of outfit and ending up with my old faithful corset dress!!!  ;)

    I needed a cheer up, because I'm full of cold!!!!

    The first image is at the apartment. The other two are at a beach sim (sorry I can't remember which one until I'm back in world), which has a huge marina attached. I couldn't resist firing up the Windlight and grabbing some photos. I didn't manage to bag a yacht owner though. Very disappointing. But I'll be back so they are not safe!!!

    It was Bumrose Beach...…"Ooo-err! 😜

    But I sort of surprised myself by buying, and sort of loving, the Blueberry tank that was also available. It's really not my usual deal, but it's beautifully made. It crept in under the radar, and caught me unawares.

    I guess there is no SL chat up line which hasn't been tried. Most of the above have a dull echo........

    Still no Prince Charming after almost one year.........

    Yeah but I've met some girls who are great company, which more than makes up for it. :)

    I've been here almost a year now (and I'm working on my rezz day speech). In the beginning it took a huge leap of faith for me to make that first post, not just here but anywhere on the forums. But I was made so welcome by the regulars, that I felt confident enough to post my 'point and click' images. It's not so long that I began using Windlight, in January this year, and I completely understand how hard it is to get to that point.

    I always make sure that I welcome new posters, because we need to make them as welcome as I was made, and help everybody develop their skills and raise the bar. There's no doubt that we all encourage each other to do better and we see some amazing images now.

    So far I haven't made the magic 30, but increasing numbers mean that mid twentys will soon be the norm. The whole thing is growing and the bigger it gets, the bigger it will get! It amazes me that with so many people in SL, and so many SL flickr accounts, so few post on here. I don't get that, but hey, what do I know!  :)

    Just about to go, but I found time to dance on the poles at Blue Water Cove. Not very busy so no money in it really, although I did get some tips...….. that can get addictive!! haha!

    And I met a girl this week who said she made enough money in SL by hostessing/escorting to go fully mesh without putting in any real money...…….now that's impressive.....

    Premium...Is It Worth It?

    At present I have use of an apartment at no cost so I don't need a home.

    I avoid busy laggy sims, so I don't really aspire to easy access, even where there's supposed bargains!

    I don't build, so I don't need a capable sandbox.

    I'm not big on groups either!!!

    I haven't needed tech support, yeah that's tempting fate for sure!!!

    So there's nothing there to pull me in. I understand that the annual cost less the stipend is close, and great value, but I wouldn't currently use any of the benefits...…..

    :)

    A Marketplace across the board discount might do it...………………………….
