  1. Well this is interesting, I just come home from a 8 hour shift at work and literally go to load the land seletction page, it refreshes automatically by itself and puts me in lockout. Tell me again how it's to keep me from refreshing too much when all I did was load the page for the first time tonight after turning my computer on that's been shut down and off for the past 8 hours? Seriously. Tell me how.
  2. actually, if you look for the same parcel inworld you will see that a lot of people charge crazy amounts of money for it. Linden homes don't cost anything, considering you're already paying or have already paid for premium... That's why Linden homes are better. Plus you get to have your house already up and still have a pretty decent prim allotment, with a regular piece of 1024 sqm land, you have to put your own house down, and that takes away from how many prims you have left to decorate with.
  3. Yep, that's how it goes about here. Welcome to the forums. It gets pretty cozy once you learn to tune out people.
  4. Not really. We live in a dog eat dog world. Survival of the fittest seems pretty realistic. Let me throw out a scenario for you: Like person A is sitting stuck on a lockout screen from refreshing at signs of a region release happening, they were sitting there camping the release; when person B gets a home, person C gets the sold out screen 3 times in a row, and Person D refreshes once after just logging in for the first time that day and gets a lockout for refreshing too much? Please tell me how that's fair?
  5. See I didn't know all the technical parts behind it, thank you for elaborating on that, Abnor. It was a theory up in the air and now it makes sense. It was just trying to help find space to put the houses since the scripting is pretty well known for them, right?
  6. Numerous people getting locked out of refreshing when a region drops.
  7. Like I said, was just a theory since the regions already existed and have houses on them already.
  8. Bizzarre thought, why not pick up the old houses off the old linden home lands and rework those continents since they already exist and put the new homes down there? Literally it'd make sense since they want to phase them out anyway, and it would help fill demand a lot faster. Look don't shoot me for asking, It's merely an idea.
  9. There's been several others that have posted on a few threads that are also pretty upset. I don't call them out though. Neither do y'all. Besides. I'm just some random person on the internet. How do you actually know I haven't had one at all? I could be bluffing. @sylvia tamalyn
  10. Nah, not really. More locked out posts than anything else 😂
  11. One or two. Not nearly as many as you or anybody else thinks I have. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one trying for a better location. Seriously no reason to hate on me for that.
  12. I haven't been able to get one at all since the refresh limit was put in place. Nice try though.
  13. Most of the east coast was awake. I'm sure there was at least a handful or more still asleep, but ok. 🤷‍♀️
  14. And you know what they say about the assuming, right? Yeah, I know. I was basing it off of LL HQ times. Big whoop. It was a guess.
  15. In my defense, I didn't know Patch was located in Georgia until just now. I was taking a guess based on the fact of LL headquarters is in California. It's a mistake anybody could genuinely make.
  16. They've made multiple houses now so they've got the scripting down at least for the houses, for the regions, I get it, landscaping takes time. But when they do have regions ready, Like I have been flying around and see a couple of named regions with houses up and everything, they only release one at a time each day they do a release? Like.. how's that gonna help resolve the issue? On top of that, there's the refresh block that's making it near impossible to even try as well. That's pretty much like promising a golden ticket to 1 kid in every 100 that buy a wonka bar in hopes of being lucky.
