Yeah it's just gonna ruin some girls/teens tops and swimsuits, looks pretty silly to be wearing a bra with a swimsuit like this: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/training-swimsuit-Rebirth-Full-Perm/22398807

and that's just your normal swimsuit. Two piece swimsuits will be even more iffy.

Swim suits will probably need custom ones .. they could cover the entirety of the area covered by the swim suit, although we need to ask about removing side and back straps and such tomorrow

Yeah I don't think some people understand just how many sims and how much land smol AV's own, not to mention all the associated family RP sims and land. A certain user's "Minority of walking AR violations" or whatever she calls them would cost LL a huge chunk of money to lose.

This is because they have had to make and pay for all their own spaces since the start of SL.

This is clearly an issue about which a lot of people have strong views and is clearly causing a good deal of concern for a particular group.  Many of the people affected who aren't regular forum users may well find themselves here for the first time, because they've asked friends or inworld groups what these changes are all about and been told there's a thread about them in the forums.

Please let's try to ensure that people who haven't been following this thread from the beginning don't come here to catch up, only to find it's degenerated into a load of off-topic chatter, memes and jokes.

Many are reading this thread, freaking out at the unabashed hate being spewed for hundreds of pages and walking away.

I've been poked by people about this very thing in world and on discord.

I'm trying to get some to come to the governance meeting tomorrow - The responses so far can neatly be summed up as

    F*** NO

People are walking away because this thread is nothing more than an opportunity for a few regulars to attack every concern or question raised.

LL : We're not banning child avatars !

LL : But this mob sure look angry about their existence, fascinating.

but sure .. this fist fight about are child avatars comparable to lethal prison sporks is what's relevant, good job forums.

Yeah, but are they going to look in every Adult group to try to find someone just because they're selling something on MP?

That data is being scraped by bots into external databases. It is only a matter of time before someone decides to put it to some use, makes a searchable index, uses it to target avatars in mutually exclusive groups (eg, something kids & something not) etc etc.

  6. Safer.

Can we just linger on that for a moment.

    We're talking about what's safer.

Things are feeling pretty adversarial and strained in the relationship with LL if safety and protecting ones-self from governance is how things are going.

That's a huge problem, and not one that's we can solve, or will just go away on its own.

If the state of our virtual nation is "you don't have to fear the cops if you've done nothing wrong", things are really bad.

I hesitated in posting this .. because doing so feels unsafe.

A: Not all violations of the policy will result in an immediate termination. Depending upon the nature and severity of the violation, Governance has a suspension tree that is utilized to make attempts to educate the Resident first. However, if those attempts fail and the behavior is continued, it will result in termination. For the more severe offenses, the immediate action will still be to terminate their access to Second Life.

AP is the most severe offense.
