It could be as simple as going to communities directly and chatting. Somehow trying to educate before people get in trouble. I still wonder how many don't have a clue about these new rules. One club I go to.. an adult one.. the owners didn't have a clue. Of course they already banned child avies but I was still surprised.

I might kind of add and don't be a belligerent, know it all, smart a** , insult thrower to them at every opportunity.. especially when under investigation yourself. Not that I think they lean this way, no way of knowing. I do know I've worked for companies that have a hard internal line about abuse of an employee.. including verbal. With TOS they basically say they can cut you off when they want for any reason. Go down near the bottom and read about termination and user conduct. No this one is easy height alone means nothing. You could be a super tiny full grown man or woman if you want. Not you @BilliJo Aldrin but I think a lot of people seem to think that private land owners have to follow the same thought process as the Lindens. People are gonna ban you for being short on private or privately owned open to the public land if they want and it's their bought and paid for right. Even though it's not exactly on this topic I was watching the video of that meeting and some guy was going off that he was kicked from somewhere because he had child avatar in his profile but had shown up as a stick man. Yeah and? Next please! The same thing does apply here... you might have more pushback from the community over being short but more than likely it will be same as it ever was. I think for years now there has been a downscaling in size going on and "short" is more acceptable. I do think a lot of people base their short perception on the most popular mesh bodies shrunk all the way down. That's what I've done on all of my bodies... Belleza Freya, Legacy, Belleza Gen X, and now Reborn. I think Maitreya has a similar base height too.. I have it on another avatar but havent worn it in years. I do add a little height with pulling and pushing some body parts .. and heels or perma barbie feet but that's all. Never a bit of problem about my height.

The way I read it is. If you present as underage by the deadline you must have a body that has the underwear built in and completely non-removable. If you are able to put a skin on it it has to be a skin that has the modesty layer as part of the skin. Full Stop. However they are possibly allowing for more time and the individual education process will be very lenient for awhile if they are investigating the account over modesty layer non-compliance alone.

It's interesting to me how the way they dress really makes a difference for me for some avatars. Many that are dressed like an adult would get a different rating from me if they were dressed like a child or teen.

The age of consent in California is 18. I think they trying to be very careful and possibly looking to the future. Besides if we are giving the benefit of the doubt to "edge cases" if that's what the confused faces represent that would encourage people to push the envelope even more.

Or did I misread and you meant to say I think my avatar is completely skirting the edge? Can you rate me because of that?

For me it was the head. I put confused though so if I were in charge of bouncing from an adult venue I'd have to know more.

I saw her as possibly the teacher. You do have hips in that picture also.

@Theresa Ravenheart posted in the other thread and yes... cause of the boobs and hips I rated her adult. But if she went slim with no boobs she'd be a confused rating for me. If she went slim no boobs, schoolgirl outfit, kawaii ao, ect.. she'd look underage to me.

I rated them both as "adult". You're first picture has those cute pigtails and that's really the only possible confusion I see. So they are looking at overall a little more strictly than I do. I have that hairstyle somewhere....

Have you ever had to police an adult venue? Just wondering. Sometimes you do have to make a decision despite what they say.

But I'd still look at her profile and search for clues if I were running an adult venue and she showed up. I hope people understand I mean no ill-will by saying that. Again if she had nothing on her profile to indicate I'd give her the benefit of the doubt.

Your new picture absolutely does present differently.... @ValKalAstra and not just because of the cleavage. The setting, the stance, the pose, just overall it doesn't say underage.

For me yes, It would depend on what they say or how they are dressed though. She'd def be an edge case... depending on how she talked or dressed. I didn't take into account how she was dressed in that picture though.. so I get your point.

See I don't even think the "teen" in that picture would have to be labeled a teen here in sl personally. The child def looks like a child.
