I see it was approved 2 days ago, it's probably lost somewhere in the group feed by now.

yes it is true that group has too many photos with thousands of people who send on flickr, but I worry about me if they put my photo or not ... if not then yes they refuse me ... instead if they approved me that they must have already put my photo.... but it's not there.... it's strangely because...

The way reviewing of photos shared to group works is for every action a moderator takes involving photo you shared you will always get a notification. If the photo is approved - notification. If the photo is rejected - notification. If the photo is removed from the group 6 months later for god knows whatever reason - notification.

The fact that you haven't received notification that your work was rejected means it's in the group, just buried... somewhere deep, never to be found again.
Personally for me as a photographer, sharing my works in groups like "Second Life Official" where there's overwhelming flow of content and slow moderation is not the best approach to share my art as it tends to quickly get lost... after it was approved 3 weeks after initially posted to my feed.

Have you checked whether the group is visible on your photo? Also how long after you posted your photo was it approved, was it hours or it days perhaps?

It's possible you don't see your photo in the group because the amount of content that is reviewed and published in that group is crazy. There are times where several new pages of content is approved per day in that group.
The current photo count there is 1,057,844 photos. It's a lot.

Really wonderful shot, Cath. The sunlight and lens flare is on point, and the Dutch angle works really well! Yay you!

On today Lovecraft country's weather forecast we expect to be mostly sunny throughout the day and with mild winds blowing from southeast and low probability of losing you sanity to an Eldritch terror in the early evening. :P

    Thank you, Dahling.

  4. According to Oxford dictionary:  short for alternative, it's denoting a version of something, especially popular music, that is intended as a challenge to the traditional version.

The popularity of alt- as an initial element in word formation followed the adoption of the hierarchy label alt.* on the computer discussion network Usenet in 1987, as groups with this prefix as the first element were seen as alternatives to the mainstream newsgroups. However, combinations with quasi-adjectival alt can be found earlier, as, for example alt rock as a shortening of alternative rock, dating from no later than 1982.

Flickr peeve. Probably not an uncommon one,

People who "follow" you without engaging even once, in any way, with any of your pics.

I mean, c'mon, people. Provide some evidence that you've actually looked at the images of the person you've decided to follow! There has to be a reason you're following me -- is it just because you want a follow back? (In most cases, I suspect that is the case.)

I get that people -- bloggers and merchants, for instance -- almost need to game the system a bit in order to get follows, but I can't imagine following someone without faving and/or commenting on at least some of the images on their front page. It's not that I particularly care about faves: even one of those stupid badges counts as far as I'm concerned as a form of engagement. But I'm not going to follow you back if I don't see some indication that you actually have looked at and like at least one of my pics.

I TOTALLY feel you on that one!

The only interactions I've been getting on my photos(not that I post often) lately are the so called group rewards. Thanks... what f*%^$ am I suppose to do with that?! I understand if it was a recognition for well made art, but when I open one of those groups and browse around I see the same reward on random basic screenshots. Sooo stimulating.... NOT!

I try to be as supportive as possible to the artists I know and interact with them, showing them I've seen their new work. One particular person here knows that all too well.

  6. Hi there!

Seeing as nobody replied I'll try help out.
That may be due to settings configuration as in BD there is particular setting for camera lag. Here is an example of the camera settings I use on my viewer:
    image.jpeg.4f0a3343c622d94b57cadb82227c456f.jpeg

What you can also try is download and install new version of Black Dragon viewer as there was new release very recently. I advice you to clear your cache and delete any residual files you may have as they can mess up with your viewer.

You can also check around the Niran's blog and even join the Discord server where people can assist as well on any issue you may have.

You can also reach out to @NiranV Dean as he also lurks around the forums.

  7. Looks good, but I feel like the end product will not be like the demo, specially on the rendering part.

There are more than I can count sims out there who are very heavy on prims and can make high end desktop pc struggle at times, let alone a mobile device that can't even come close in hardware power.

I see it to be mostly used as form communication rather than actively interacting with the virtual world.
