We'll at least be able to buy shrubbery cheaper in the MP, I guess
And, one would hope, herring.

That was me. While changing, it's still a very socially and legally conservative country still. For example, they still have blasphemy laws on the books (Article 298 in their national laws) for hurting another person's religious feelings.
Singapore also still has Caning.

"Thune" sounds like Jimmy from the end of "Rebel Moon", or Monty Python's "Knights who say 'Ni'".

All Thunes means to me is my Tilia Dollars can go to a faster processor than Pay Pal, and possibly for less fees. Waiting five days for Paypal to accept and release my Tilia dollars is ridiculous. At least that is their promise, that Thunes B2B process is faster than Tilia. Tilia seems to be overwhelmed with compliance - why do they take so long for a Process Transfer?
Thunes is still a small company, 400 employees worldwide, looking for an entry into the US online money transfer business. The main advantage will be their larger money network to 3rd world countries and transfers in minutes from your money wallet. Will that increase LL's cash intake?
There's an interesting idea - Thunes could be "cheaper" to operate than Tilia was. Meaning - LL could SAVE money using Thunes.

Resizable ones would be better, though.

I assume LL will still own the "L$ Exchange", and Thune will only own the "Buy L$" and "Cash In L$" parts, like with Tilia.

Explaining the differences between a pier, a pontoon, a jetty, a dock, a quay, a promenade and an esplanade to confused land lubbers is difficult enough already.
So I won't.
Because it amuses me.
😜
Heck, you could drive a TANK on a pontoon bridge!
At least LL could have put up "no vehicles" signs. A proper "walkable neighborhood" is a nice idea.

Hear, hear!
We should all make a plan to meet up in the "next place", wherever that is!

Also on the Thunes site (after the article):
"Thunes currently facilitates payments in 84 currencies across 133 countries, using over 550 payment methods, including 129 mobile wallets like PayPal, M Pesa and Orange Money, gig economy giants like Uber and Deliveroo and super-apps like Grab and WeChat. Headquartered in Singapore, Thunes has offices in 14 locations, including Beijing, Nairobi, Riyadh, Dubai, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, London, Paris, Barcelona and Manila."
Someone DID mention Singapore earlier, but I forgot.
ETA: I posted this in the wrong thread by mistake. Luckily, someone reported it. Thanks to whoever did that, or I may not have noticed! ❤️❤️

The last line in the Thunes website article (https://www.thunes.com/news/thunes-announces-agreement-to-acquire-tilia-llc/😞
"Subject to regulatory approval, after the acquisition closes, Tilia will be rebranded as Thunes and will remain based in San Francisco."
I missed the bold part earlier.

Yeah, someone else pointed out earlier that they are Dutch.
Makes you wonder, why not "more Dutch companies" taking over stuffs? I guess them Dutch are busy enough.

Unpacker HUDs in the center are fine, because it only takes one click to unpack, then you can detach them. One thing that bugs me though is unpacker HUDs that automatically unpack and then detach. No! I frequently just want to pull out one size or one thing from the package. I don't need multiple folders going into my inventory that I now have to delete.
Another thing I hate is unpacker and texture HUDs that attach to the upper left or central left, where my body and head HUDs attach. Even if one doesn't constantly wear these, one needs their body HUD on while trying on clothes and dressing, in order to use the alpha cuts. I try to remind myself to always Add HUDs, but still, clothing creators should know that mesh body and head HUDs usually attach to the upper left.
What's best is resizable HUDs, so if we need bigger text and buttons, we can stretch them out or shrink them if they're taking up too much space.
It would be nice if there was a way to attach something but set scripts to "not running" first.
Or some convention like, if you don't attach it in the default place, don't automatically unpack. Or, don't unpack without the user clicking it first.

It sinks less fast as the Titanic, but the violins keep playing, ... i hope people who make their living from it, also start looking for a escape pod/boat
it might take still a long time till your feet get wet, but better have one before the water hits the knees.Worth quoting!
The "I hope..." part is a good plan always, in any world. Eggs all in one basket kinda-thing. Even in the best of times at the best of places. Individual, or entity: Diversify. Cannot be stressed enough. its a long life out there. Multiple streams is essential.
Just make sure the "Titanic" deck chairs are not "AFK" chairs before relaxing.

Peeve: "Oh, yeah!??!" (Comes back as Alt and agrees with me.)
Always amusing when the only person who agrees with a post is the poster's alt. Now THAT might be a sign of deeper issues.
Peeve: When you figure someone's issues are due to Psychological trauma, but you know better than to suggest it.

Occam's razor would suggest to me that a final agreement about the Tilia sale had yet to be reached by the time it came to record and broadcast the episode of Lab Gab.
That sounds logical.
All the negative response in this thread also suggests a possibility, that having this announcement as part of the Lab Gab may have been a large distraction from all the "positive messaging".

@Kathlen Onyx, I found it! It was the same song. They compete to see who can sing the highest. It gets quite..enthusiastic! This video is played in church every year or ao, as an "intro" before service.
