From what i know of, sl will not accept prepaid credit cards.

Have you tried reapplying the outfit you want to wear ?

Just to let you know, its not a very wise idea to have a bigger screen to close in front of you.

There is a third party veiwer at http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ that will work until the sl veiwer becomes "working" once again for everyone hopefully. Just remember to download the right firestorm veiwer for your system.

Have you tried resetting the modem / router when you shut the laptop / pc down, this can make a big difference sometimes. A lot can depend what type of place you are logging into, if theres lots of people or prims in that sim.

Try not having any windows open in your veiwer, if not it sounds like you may keep on being rejected from that region. Alot depends on the age of your avatar also, and the regions where you are allowed to go to.

Sometimes when you dont have a good connection, when you shut down the laptop / pc and unplug the router and modem and reset the modem, also reset the router if you are using one.

Allthough i am not one to be spending every cent i have in sl, but the odd time i do take a chance playing a sploder or something. It is more luck than anything else taking a chance to win something sometimes when the situation does arrive.

Since i downloaded a firestorm veiwer i havent been having any problems. When downloading a server from http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ it is important that you install the right veiwer for your system otherwise you will have problems with it.

Without a doubt there does seem to be a problem with the sl veiwer, i have tried and tried for myself and found out, even fixes also. But my only alternative was to get a veiwer from http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ to log in again.

Like Madelane said ...things take time If you cannot log into the sl veiwer at "all"..... then there are alternatives here at http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ that may help until such time comes.

The same thing happened to me 2 days ago, so i tried a veiwer from http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ and was able to log in again until the sl veiwer runs properly.

Canceling your account in sl because a veiwer wont work isnt much for an excuse But you can get a veiwer at http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ so that you will be able to log in.

There is another veiwer for sl here http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ for the meantime.

One thing that it can be is your browser, if you are using IE or mozilla firefox clearing your cookies etc can make a big difference. Another thing that is very helpfull is when you shut down your laptop/ pc is to unplug the modem and reset it. Also When you download a server from http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/, its important that you download the right veiwer for your system, whether its 32 bit or 64 bit.

Judging from the amount of posts about this issue with the sl veiwer, the best thing to do for now is get a veiwer from http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/

The very same thing happened to me, i got a sl veiwer here http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ and was able to log in with no problems.

I tried this link also http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release/3.7.20.296355 and when it ran a update i couldnt get to the log in page again. I uninstalled and reinstalled then it couldnt finish the update because it said there was an incorrupt file.

I left sl for a while then downloaded and had the same problem, it would not take me to the log in page. So what I did is download a third party veiwer from http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ and so far everything seems fine. It does take awhile to get used to a different veiwer but thats where patience comes in handy as well.
