Tier on a private region is indeed generally paid for with Linden however several of the big landlords als offer direct payment through paypal as well, they usually have that info in their estate agency office/online website. And you are correct, you do not need to be premium to rent land on a private estate.

In the games I played that have lootboxes they worked the same way as gacha's. You saw a preview of what you can get and you paid money into it to get one of those items. I am done now explaining it though as has been done time and time again and I am not sure if you're being deliberately obtuse about it or just trolling at this point.

You pay tier directly to Linden Lab if you buy a mainland parcel. What you are describing is buying a parcel in a privately owned region. The owner of said region pays tier to LL and you pay rent to the owner because of it.

Gachas and lootboxes function the same way. You put money in and get an item at random.

Nobody in SL has ruined it for those who enjoy gacha's. The laws and legislations forced LL to act, not its users.

And all those 12 pulls are gambling since you are paying for something you don't know.

You don't know beforehand if you get your money's worth. You could have spent that 125L and only gotten one shirt and the rest of the pulls being doubles of it. It was a gamble you took.

And another user spent 2k Linden and didn't get a rare. Just because you were lucky doesn't mean it's not a gamble. You gambled and won, but it was still a gamble.

You can re-texture and sell full permission meshes that you have purchased. You can re-texture but you cannot sell items that are copy/mod/no transfer. No transfer means exactly that, you cannot transfer the product or whatever you do with it to another avatar.

It is allowed. What would be less of a headache though, would be to transfer all Linden to one account and then cash out. Will save you extra fees too.
