Can't add items to cart or to favourites... and it is sooooooo sloooooooow......

I received folders before. A few weeks ago I could receive anything. The last folder I accepted had LM's and notecards in it and I had no problems with it. The very next day I couldn't receive folders. It's really odd. I know you can send and receive folders normally.... just not me at the moment lol

I have a really odd one here..... If someone sends me something in a folder - notecards, LM''s, poses, animations, gestures etc... I do not receive the folder....It shows in local that I have received it, and it shows on my transactions that I have been sent an item, yet nothing shows in my inv. I have to ask the sender to put the item inside a prim and send me the prim. This is becoming increasingly annoying as I have to pass and receive a lot of items. Has anyone heard of this happening before or experienced it themselves? I have tried clearing my cache, logging in to a quiet sandbox, checking no filters are on and even doing a clean install. I have also tried it on multiple viewers. I am at a loss. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance Belle x

I love this thread!!!! I still build in prim. I could build 24/7. And my prim builds still sell on mp. Being able to add shine and bump to textures gives us more range with what we can create now as well. My bestie asked me to put my take on the real "Frank Lloyd Wright Fallingwater" house. The land and cliffs were bought mesh items but the house were pretty much all prim. And I am currently working on a build for a client which is 95% prim. Only the stairs and signage for the building name are mesh. Bring back more prim builds!!!

For some strange reason I can no longer save images to disk. This started Monday night during the DDoS attack. It could be just coincidence but I am not sure whats going on. I did a normal photoshoot during Monday day time. Later that evening I tried to do another but when I saved the image to disk, in my folder content on the hard drive the image just showed as a blank item. When I tried to open it, I was given the message "this file does not exist". Today I went back to the folder and the images are there, but are both blurred versions as if only a portion of the picture has saved. I just tried to save a picture to disk and it has done the same as before - this file does not exist. I'm trying to take pictures for market place items... pulling my hair out...help please!!

Bit of a random thing has started happening today on my hubby's pc today. He logged into SL as normal but just as it loads his avi freezes, well everything freezes. He can't even type. Every minute or so it will unfreeze for about 2 seconds and then freeze again. I decided to uninstall and do a clean install. I checked all his preferences and made sure everything was correct on the login screen first, then logged in. Again it logs in fine and as soon as it loads and the screen changes to the normal avi screen everything freezes again. I have checked and no changes to his firewall or anti virus. He does get a media plugin error come up saying unable to plugin, but thats it. We both have the same laptops, with the same software and viewer and (touch wood) my laptop is running firestorm fine. I am at a loss as to what is causing this and would be grateful for any input or ideas how to fix this issue. He is going to drive me insane lol Please help!!!!

Hi there, I am very new to scripting and have a simple fade script I am using in a build, however I want to make it owner use only but I don't know what to put or where to put it in the script. I've never had a issue with voice in SL until they did maintence and reportidily fixed something.. and now I cannot hear others and can't voice myself. Nothing has changed on my pc, and I have follwed the help guides and tried shutting down SL voice in Task manager then restarting it, have logged in and out mulitple times and gave up last night hoping it would be back today, but nope.... any ideas? Anyone else having voice issues tonight? Everything was working fine last night when I logged. Have back this evening and it will not work. I have rebooted, turned it off in task manager then restarted, tried restting in preferences.. and now at a loss. my bestie has all of a sudden got the same issue... is it just us? lol

Bit of an update... My lovely RL hubby bought me a new pc... specs are below... but it seems to be struggling a little, and I thought this would have been enough for SL tbh. So now I am scratching my head lol He has said we can take it back and get another, so I also have the specs of another one I am looking at listed below.. Thank you all for your replies and for not being too harsh on my pc lol I used to Whirly but did remove it. Does it cause issues then? I was told the same about Ram, that on my pc it won't actually help. Am thinking I am going to have to wait it out til I can afford a new pc.

Hey SL world... So I am getting fed up with the upates to the viewers that are making my poor pc work too hard. Up until the previous firestorm update everything had been great. But for the past 6 months I have been having terrible texture errors and have read all the threads on here and made the tweeks to my viewer to try and sort this issue to no avail. Today I did a clean install of the latest viewer with a hope that it would be somewhat better with all the bug fixes listed, but alas it is worse.. now I am freezing every 10 seconds or so and some prims just won't load... I have made sure I have turned off the settings I don't need but am so frustrated. I can make upgrades to my pc if needed as long as it's not the cost of a brand new pc. Not for a few months anyway. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this... I have had it 5 times now and declined everyone. It just says it's a gift titled giftgame and comes from spyworm. I have no idea what it is but I have not accepted any of them, but feel someone might that is not as suspicious as me, and this might actually be something quite nasty. Has anyone had this and clicked accept or know what it is? and how can I stop it. It seems to be coming from different places as well. I have blocked the sender so will see if anymore come through. Hope this isn't a very nasty thing, and doesn't ruin some users time here :(

I blocked him, and his mates, it just seems so unjust that he will do this to others and get away with it. I do have thick skin, but my friend was in shock! As I said, in his SL job he comes across so nice and fun loving to everyone, I have seen him DJ, but to see this in his personal life, it's just mind blowing. Hi there, just a quick question. Tonight I have gone shopping with a friend of mine and we are both bbw's and have been verbally assaulted in local chat by a very well known person in SL.... Normally in his profession he is welcoming and pleasant, but seems in his provate life he is vile. I have reported him and his friend to SL but I have also heard this does nothing. I don't know what else to do. He was so disrespectful. I know I have not been here long but in my time here I have never had this type of confrontation, and tbh it has left me a little shell shocked that there are people who would just get up in a persons face and give them grief!
