During the week I was told about some abandoned land that had been renamed to "Linden Right of Way". This land was once part of a privately owned railroad closed in 2013 named WARR (West Atoll Railroad). I would like to see a railroad built by the LDPWS on the western side of Heterocera Atoll. I would imagine that a railroad would open new opportunities for residents wanting to purchase land near a railroad and I'm sure that the Second Life rail community would love to see a west atoll rail branch again. So what is your thoughts about a railroad on the ROW?

@ Snoopencil, don't worry they cannot harm you or track you. You just happened to be in all the right places at the wrong time. The same thing happened to me 5 times in 3 hours by the same bot, The bots you speak of sound like the the bots from this thread: Anyone know what these bots do? These Bots tend to have alot of SL users posting on their feed about "Bot" "Banned". They are a bots. Most of them them rotate 720° take pictures then TP to other places to do the same thing.

Within the last 2 days I have noticed these bots TPing in at the centre of the sim, unfortunately I was not in range to view them when they visited. However 10 minutes ago I seen one TP near a parcel on the other side of the sim that is for private sale. Same as the rest of the others bots, spin around 360° and then takes off. I guess this bot is not going down to the corner store to pick me up a sandwich :matte-motes-crying:

Anpe I'm worried about your findings on the mainland of Heterocera, I am curious how you built the structure then discovered it. :matte-motes-agape: You will find that these bots tend to sit in the centre of the sim until someone purchases the parcel or bands the bot, I guess it would be easier to scan the area from the centre of the sim. Keep in mind that these bots multitask from scanning the area, possibly scanning AV's, spamming advertisement groups and spying on me when I'm in my virtual shower. As for your rotating bots......... you can read about them here Anyone know what these bots do?

Unfortunatly Marigold I think that this mystery is about to get more Curious. ★ Within the last 4 months I've noticed that when ever I post in a forum, someones feed or post in group chat that these spam groups go wild with random rubbish spam. Otherwise these groups are silent most of the time. ★ Did you know that they also run under a third Group Tag within a separate group owned sim? ★ I have this funny feeling that they have the ability to track avatars on the mainland aswell. Oh....... I was down at a this sim the other day to do some secret spy work........ Shhhhhh it's a secret but nothing Curious happened................ Then I logged back in.

Since my last post I have come across the same bot 3 times in three different area's. Twice on Heterocera Atoll (once on the eastern part of Heterocera and once on the north-western part of Heterocera). I just found the bot again in my radar and I was on a private sim away from the mainlands. This time the Bot didn't spin a full 720° rotating at 45° increments before it left, I managed to run to the bot and stand infront of it before it made 180° Then the bot took off some where else before it made it to 225° of it's rotation. After looking the picture I noticed this time it has a yellow coloured box in its right hand. The bot didn't have this the last three times that I have seen it. I find it bizzar that it lands within 30 meters from me everytime I see it on radar. Could they be Stalker Bots?

The "." is usually the bot starting or ending a spam message. I've noticed that only the *MovieStars*'s do this, I have seen this in many of advertising spam groups from bots that have the familiar *MovieStar* names. Be very carefull when opening any URL link that they or anyone else posts. Make sure that you read the link before clicking on it. I've noticed that there has been a few links getting around that look very similar to SL Marketplace URL. If you do fall for the URL link trap change your SL password and run a scan for Trojan Viruses.

I seen my first rotating bot today at Bhaga station, the AV was an old man named Burno. I looked into his profile and found that alot of people have have posted in the feed section about the bot spamming group chat. So I guess these bots are just like the MovieStar spammers.

I have a good feeling that the boss is reading here. All of them are now invisable, even the ones that havn't been online for awhile. I noticed the old ones the other night during sim maintenance. Here's another thread - Am I Seeing a Ghost? Mystery in Axel

Well that is an interesting thought about sims ands bot's, it is something that I had never thought about. However the sim can be restarted with the Bot being transfered to a Welcome Area while the sim is being restarted. (I feel sorry for them Bots). Lately during some Happy Laps a few thoughts have gone through my mind; ★ Why the change of Group Tags? ★ Why are the Ladies invisable now? ★ Is our friend at HQ following this thread on this sensational forum? ★ Why is an advertising group affraid of being advertised? ★ Why are the ladies scattered over the mainlands and not in one place? Anyway's I'm looking forward to the day that our friend can have a meeting with us so that some of us can understand and have no fear about purchasing land on SL. See you out there

At the time of your last post the objects had been changed. I have tried many of text only viewers as an experiment but have not found anything like the stars are using. I would imagin that someone has made a viewer for the group that has the ability to run X amount of avatars. I have found some text only viewers that you can purchase for $6000 USD but i'm will never spend that much money on virtual experiments.

Interesting Rufferta, I have been down to the site that you speak of and as you say a Ghost. The only thing that turnes up is a name and a tag. Judging from the profile of your ghosted neighbour it seems to be a ★Movie Star★'s profile with a different tag. For example The Profile Picture: I have seen it before on another ★Movie Star★'s profile. The Name: lower case first letter of the first name with an uppercase first letter of the surname. The Age: is similar aswell. The thing that makes me laugh............... The new group tag. In another thread http://community.secondlife.com/t5/General-Discussion-Forum/Curiouser-and-curiouser/td-p/953465 people asked about them being copybots......... people asked about how much weight they could have on a server....... people also asked about them being against the TOS as a bot....... Looks like they have a new group tag now of "Harmless-Light-Legal" How bizzar.

My ears are burning......... I created a group early this year for filming within SL, I just havn't had the time to edit it yet. That's the reason for the tag. Oh........ I have nothing to do with the ★Movie Star★'s, I'm just Curiouse like everyone else in SL. However I have seen them walking around twice, I have seen a female ★Movie Star★ AV with a male name change into a male avatar, I've also seen one spam the SL9B group and I keep bumping into a person that is always around when a ★Movie Star★ is being placed on the land. I'm actually shocked, I've had the tag for a long time now, I've been at events with people from this thread and the Curiouse thread while I've been wearing the bizzar looking ★Movie Star★ avatar and nobody has ever said anything. :matte-motes-shocked:

I recently pulled out an old PC with one of the first versions of Firestorm Viewer on it just so I could check what viewer the ★Movie Star★'s are using, however as Phil was saying in post #367 it just comes up as Viewer2 as the default. I've been abit slack lately, I have been down to the ★Movie Star★'s HQ and done some snooping around for a better understanding of what they are upto but I didn't make it inside......... I was to interested in a freebies counter halfway across the sim. I inspected some of the freebie boxes to find most of the ★Movie Star★'s clothing, hair and skins. This is worth while checking out, some very bizzar findings in these boxes. :smileysurprised: With all the sim restarts happening at the moment you don't have to travel far to find upto 4 ★Movie Star★'s sitting in a welcome area at the one time. I found 3 down at Korea2 Welcome Area shown below. I have noticed lately that the ★Movie Star★'s seem to be heading down the coasts of Jeogeot, I found one on Abandoned land at Marybank I had to stop and say hello Every 3 hours on the hour it would return to its original position.

LMAO, I had fun writing my last post, I hope the captain of the MovieStar Enterprise is having a chuckle too. I tested your walk-through theory on some bots around Bay City, 100% correct. I'd like to see a ★Movie Star ★ that looks like Medusa, that would be a great picture for this thread I figure there had to be more ★Movie Star ★ on other continents so I decided to do a happy lap of Jeogeot. I took alot of notes, a few pictures and most of all I had fun on the journey. I found afew in the usual places before I took this picture but this one got my attention. As you can see she is along way from the road and this was not an abandoned parcel or for sale, parcel set for no build, no script, no push. She seemed very interested in the clothing store she was facing. There's another 4 more ★Movie Star ★'s in that map. Guess where This one was high up in the hills looking at a gaming table, two of her sisters were close by. I had to add this picture, I like her name. Four of her sisters are close by. All the stars in this area are facing land for sale by the owner. Things that I've noticed lately: ★Usually found on the northern side of mainland continents. ★Their profile pictures are being changed to an avatar in stead of some random female image. ★70% have Arimidi Hair of all different styles. ★Kriwer seems to be a common surname. ★What ever viewer they are usuing is not showing up. ★They seem to be sitting away from the roads just out of the sight draw distance. However I'm still curiouser and curiouser. More happy laps tommorow

Oh wow, you found a ★Movie Star★ floating too (pictured with flowers). I found one at Vostrukha today, I had to test the bump theory, all the ones I found sitting I collided with, the ones standing/floating I passed through them. The ones standing in rez area's,,, well.................... I helped them pack their bags. I had an interesting day stalking the ★Movie Star★'s on a new continent. Woops I ment visiting. :smileyembarrassed: I found over 20 ★Movie Star★'s in some very random areas, mostly found on the North/West part of the continent and alot that I can not show because this is a family thread. Here's some pictures of my adventure today: Got me stuffed how she got in there, I tried for half a hour. This nice lady gave me a cold refreshing beverage, I will have to make her something to protect her from the sun I like a ★Movie Star★ with a dislocated ankle, they can't run away when I'm talking rubbish Unfortunately the terrain was abit rough for vehicles so I rode a horse to find another ★Movie Star★ in a maze of band lines. I found this very attractive young lady and gave her some ballons as a present, I went AFK for 30 second then returned to my computer to find this, very sneaky :matte-motes-crying: I found this quite one up in the hills, she claims to be builder and an expert in skins. Unfortunately I had to decorate her head because her skin was still rezzing. I don't wish to damage her reputation. To finish off a great day exploring a continent that I'd never been to, I thought I'd give all the possession that I had gathered in my journey to my last ★Movie Star★ find. Just my luck...... Yeah I've been doing alot of Happy Laps looking for the ★Movie Star★'s. Good thing I'm not paying for fuel. As for the ★Movie Star★ I found at Korea3.... I have found her at Marietta, I needed back up incase she remembered me.  Phhheeeew she didn't remember me, thank God for that..... This one is not far away from our friend at Zoshchenko..... that's also within walking distance from Ilithyia. I'll will have to look around for the Tiny Empires thread on this SLforum. That would be a great read after what I seen today. Ohhh if you get the chance, check out the Land Access and read all the band names: Lindens, Moles, some very well known residents...... and Me As for the Molemart crew; I went down there the other night, they had a chat with me,,,,,, believe it or not. I asked them twenty million questions to find out if they were bots, They answered every question, however when I asked them to tell me who made the gas pumps out the front of Molemart they stumbled and started naming Linden's that have never existed.
