Hello again. If you fill out the application, you'll see that experience is required to complete the app. You can't not complete the app without that. Granted we stick with TOS to not disclose anyone's RL information, but we do ask for details of experience to assure there is, feel free to test out the application for yourselves if you are concerned. It also states in the description experience is a requirement aswell.

As offered also before, you may come in and ask as many questions as you like. It's up to you to do that. No further responses from here. :)

You didn't answer my question, which was "What real-life qualifications are expected for therapists and how do you propose to check them?".  You say 'experience' is required.  Experience of what?  Goat herding?  Juggling?  Also, how will you check the qualifications?  No further response from you strongly suggests you can't answer those questions.

Granite is fine in small amounts. Obviously they should have set the transition altitude to granite at a higher elevation so that only the highest points had the granite texture, but hundreds of meters of flat granite terrain is  not very attractive.

There are many giant boxes covering decent grass that I'd love to move to the granite.  I doubt they'd even notice.

Ty, Solar. I'll take the last word that you offered.

I don't think I'm wrong when I say that the laugh icon here is understood by we users as a whole to show mirth, and not to 'laugh people to scorn', which is how you usually use it. I don't think I'd be wrong by saying that we users here prefer it to be used for genuine mirth, and don't want it be used for scorn.

@Garnet Psaltery Assuming that Solar meant what he said about the last word, you are now free to have it :)

Yay!  And the last word is ... CHOCOLATE!

    Hello all,

I have a question for everyone who rents/is interested in renting a house/cottage.
Im thinking about this house / cottage, fully furnitured (Working kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and livingroom and all very high quality).
Its like 150L per week, no prims, but like i said everything is in it!
Would you pay that for a little cosy cottage?

You give no details of circumstances surrounding the cottage, such as where is it located, what are the neighbouring builds like, is there a related community, what are your personal needs, do you have another place you can rez in, but really the only question is do you want to pay for it?

  5. The auction system is borked at the moment but you can keep an eye on the page to see when it comes back into operation.  From your Account page on the main SL website go to Buy Land on the top menu and click on the Auctions line.

  6. I have no official statements on either question to hand, but I don't believe it's Linden policy to interfere in resident land prices.  I am quite sure no-one is getting a special deal; they just have deep pockets and a plan for sitting it out until someone breaks.

Oh I know, no one is at 100 % capacity these days, but at any time someone could rent the parcel beside yours and depending on the rules, add ban lines, rezz an ugly screen, build a 100 m tall land wall, and just generally be a nuisance.

many private estates are a hot mess in one way or another, unless the covenants are very very strict.

I'm evidently terribly strict as I wouldn't allow any of those.  :D

Yup, they had mainland plots newbies could claim once they went premium, no Linden homes.  Mine was in Epilais, my best friend claimed the parcel adjoining mine.

Edited to add:  They would open entire regions just meant for newbies to claim, once mostly full they'd open more.  The regions steadily grew.  The problem was, as I said, many people made alts to claim land.  Got premium for a month, got their land, sold it, dropped the alts.

Yes, I got my first parcel that way, in Achemon.  It's mostly a deserted dump now :(

Even $1 L per sq m is too high for many people, both for the initial outlay and being stuck in that location if the sim ends up blighted.

Estates have  $1 L parcels, LL should do the same with mainland.

I don't see anything to justify why they shouldn't, except inertia on the people that run LL

Or absolute dread that yet one more thing could go wrong ... like the auction system :D
