friendship offer to myself by mistake

By mistake i offered friendship to myself, when i was on with the pocket metaverse. Now, i got every login (phoenix viewer) or (pocket metaverse) doesnt matter, an off IM via e-mail about the friendship offer from myself. inworld there is no way to accept or decline. Its just the off IM about the friendship offer. Does anyone knows how to stop, receiving this? For sure i dont want to stop getting off IMs from friends and i like myself, but this bothersome ;)

That's really weird!  First, you shouldn't be able to do that.  Second, there should be only one IM sent.  You can receive it multiple places...in world, by email, on your profile messages here...but once you close the IM and delete it, you shouldn't get it again.

You may need to write a Support Ticket for this one.

If the viewer doesn't properly check to whom you try to send a friendship request and just sends out the request, it can happen. But I'm highly impressed the server accepts a friendship request to yourself and apparently doesn't check either.

Hello Anja and welcome to SL Forums. Sounds a cache issue for me. Try to:

1)Uninstall Phoenix using the windows control panel

2)Delete everything into the following folders:

C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife and

C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ PhoenixViewer

3)Download again a fresh copy of Phoenix and install it.

See if that makes any difference.
