ChampagneStar
I just recieved a free skybox for joining a group but I have no idea how to get inside of it. It has walls on all sides and the "Phantom" option is disabled. The interior looks really nice, and I'd love to see it up close, so could someone please help me? Thanks. Marcus Hancroft
Welcome to the forums, Champagne! One thing to try first is to "sit" on something inside. Is your skybox furnished? If so, camera inside, right click on a chair and click "Sit." If it is unfurnished, try sitting on the floor or a stair or something. If that doesn't work for you, you can just right click and edit the skybox and then move it over your avatar so your avatar is inside. Then close the edit window. You should be inside it then. Good luck!
Qie Niangao
Right. Or rez a chair inside and sit on it, or rez a prim outside, sit on it, and edit it to move it inside. Then, once inside, set a landmark there, so you can just TP into it next time. (That's assuming the parcel doesn't have a Landing Point set, which would override the landmark.) ChampagneStar
Thanks for the sitting idea! I actually just built a box in it and sat on that and it worked.
PeterCanessa Oh
It's good that you're sorted-out now but as a matter of general principle it's best to contact whoever gave you an object if you need help with it. In your case that would be the group or its owner. As everything in SL is resident-created there aren't many universal rules for 'how do I use' type questions and we usually can't help
wiked Anton
....and if the parcel does have a LM that over rides your, then just set up a TP point. you can buy them cheap at SWA securities, and many other places.
