Randall Ahren
How about an automated attempt at a solution? A little captcha test before a new thread may be started?

A little captcha test before a new thread may be started? That seems to work well in a lot of other places. I used simple math problems to stop spam on websites I designed a decade ago. Randall Ahren
@rodvik, not really something a CEO should have to worry about, but the job is not getting done. Time to kill the spam, specifically this:
Jesica Dragovar
anyone tempted to go to the website these spammers are advertising, see if they have a forum, and start posting SL related threads? or as I just IMed one of them "hi I'm looking to watch some crappy ass shows like Jersy Shore or X Factor even though they suck ass, but I don't have a tv and I'm incredibly cheap, do you know where I can watch them online for free? I looked and looked in forums that have nothing to do with those shows and cant find any links, thanks for your help" I doubt I'll get a response but it was just so cathartic

PeterCanessa Oh
Why don't you spam the moderators with reports of the spam threads instead of us? (I'm serious here - I'm assuming you have some secret plan)
Randall Ahren
I just needed to upload an image so I could bit.ly it and tweet the link to rodvik. The only solution is a Linden solution. The spammers are using automated methods and the response is to reply upon human moderators and it isn't working. Automation wins in this environment.
