Madelaine McMasters
Hi Makinoe, It sounds like you need to "rebake" your avatar's textures. The keyboard command for this is Ctrl-Alt-D on a PC and Ctrl-Opt-D on a Mac. If that doesn't work you may need to clear the viewer cache. How to do that depends on the viewer you're using. I haven't tried V3 yet, so don't know exactly where that's located. Iyoba Tarantal
I have a question that is more than idle curiosity. How often do you have to rebake? I find I am doing it a lot more these days. Also have you tried wearing something that is busy with a lot of detail in the print. I run SL on two different computers. Both have ATI graphics cards. One is a ATI HD 2400 pro. The other has an ATI Radeon 9250. The machine with the ATI Radeon 9250 can not run mesh compliant viewers, but the ATI HD 2400 Pro machine has started to have rendering issues. I wish I had photos to show. If I find some, I'll post them. I will try clearing cache. Playing with the graphics settings did not fix the problem since my worst problem is land rendering. Freecilla Kuhn
Rebake as often as you need, I think the short cut is control/alt+R, that makes it easier.
Iyoba Tarantal
Uh hitting Ctrl-alt-r every time the avie turns around or I swing the camera can get old very fast. A cache clearning has helped things. I wonder how soon they will get bad again.
Freecilla Kuhn
Control-Alt-R doesn't swing the camera, you must be thinking of editing appearence. It's just easier than doing the follow the menu path thingy.
Iyoba Tarantal
You are right, but every time I swing the camera or the avie moves in any knd of built up area, her clothes go out of focus, and it's Ctrl-alt-r time. That's a lot of Ctrl-alt-r.
