porn in market place?

Hello i was searching threw the market place the other day and i found some really graphic porn on there form some one who was selling porn photos they have found on the web i wanted to know if this was eligal and if this is even aloud on the market place and do people really buy this stuff on there ?

I know what you're talking about and I too was pretty shocked when I discovered this RL porn being sold on Marketplace. Seems to be allowed by Linden Lab.

As Nyll said, it is pretty shocking. You can avoid seeing these on the marketplace by changing your maturity settings for search: clear your browser's cache, quit and relog. Set your preferences to "general, mature" instead of "general, mature, adult".

According to the Second Life Marketplace Listing Guidelines very graphic content is allowed.

As the others said it is legal.  However, it is only legal on the marketplace if it's marked as adult.  If you find anything like explicit marked as moderate or even mild marked as general then you can report it to LL.

There probably aren't many people who buy this stuff on here but it only takes a short time to list it so one sale is all it takes to make a profit, unfortunately.

NB: If you ARE going to report something then don't do it here - we're just residents like you are.
