At the log in screen of your viewer top left should be a edit or preference tab. Go into the prefences and lower your graphics then see if it will log you on. Clearing your cache while your in the preferences would be a good idea to. Close the viewer then restart.

Some computer specs will help someone to help you.  At the log in screen click on the "Help" menu, then click on "About Second Life"...........copy the specs your viewer reports to the LL servers and paste back here.  Use the "Options" menu at the upper right hand corner of the dialog box of your post to "Edit" your post to add the specs.

Just a note.  It doesn't take a high end graphics card/adapter to get in SL.........most low end graphics chipsets on a reasonable computer will allow you to launch and enter SL.  Performance might be miserable, but you can get in.  Even if you have an old driver you can still log in (again, that will likely effect how well SL runs, but you can log in).

If you switched on full res textures, ouch, you need a really kickass puter for that. You can delete your settings file to put things back to default and you should be ok then.

If you search your compter for "user_settings" you should find them in an SL folder in your AppData. Just delete them.
