error message

i got a problem with my viewer everytime i try to log in i always crash and got this pop up message  "Secondlife.exe/application error "the  unknown software exeption(0xc0000409) occurred in the application at 0x780844ce "; please help :(  (my Os is XP)  same pc i used in playing SL before, i got this error last july 17, i already tried to reformat my pc but i still got this problem.

 

i checked my computer's event viewer this is what it says

Faulting application secondlife.exe, version 2.7.1.36220, faulting module llcommon.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0004376e 

what what does it mean?

That message is coming from your operating system, not from your SL viewer.  You can add details to your question by clicking on the Options link in its upper right corner and selecting EDIT.  It would help us diagnose the problem if we knew what kind of computer and what operating system you are using, for example.

You will see a number of cases reported on error 0xc0000409, apparently
caused by various problems. Check the Event Viewer (Start - Control Panel -
Administrative Tools - Event Viewer, Application - and System logs) for any
errors pointing towards the cause of your case.

not apply to your case.
