how do i report someone for infringing on another's rights?

Actually i believe it is celebrity material in Second Life thats being infringed upon, and also i would like to know if the reported will know the reporter's name?

If you have documented evidence to support your claim and if a TOS violation is involved, just file an Abuse Report  (Help >> Report Abuse in your viewer in world).  LL will acknowledge recipet of your report but will not tell you the outcome of their own investigation and sanctions (if any). If it's not a TOS violation but a disagreement between SL residents, LL will not typically become involved.  You'll need to work it out between you.

If this infringement of celebrity "brand(s)" is on the Marketplace, there are guidelines as to what is allowable and what is not. I suppose flagging the infringing item(s) there is the way to go.

I cannot see where it talks about anonymity, but when I have filed a report in the past through the viewer, it did mention that the person you are reporting on will not know your name, so I suspect that is still true and should become obvious as you go through the process.

Myself I'd let them, the injured party do it. Human relationships can be complicated and much can be unseen. Your call on this but you did ask..
