I went to make a ticket and show them a ID of mine, and I can't make a ticket to what they said to make one to, so I tried putting it in account cearation, it said screw off in other words. And Then I go on here and it looks like they say we can't verify unless we pay money? So what I am seeing is, this is worthless waste of time because they don't like us who don't have the money to give them? Thanks, make me feel right at home SL, IMVU treats their memebers better than that and they treat us like crap =/

oh, i see what you are talking about, it tells you upfront that if you are a premium member of concierge customer you can manually verify.

Manual age verification

If you are a premium or Concierge customer and you experience difficulty verifying your identity on the Second Life website, you may submit a new support case to verify your account manually.

1. Visit https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/
2. Choose Account Issue from the first dropdown menu.
3. Choose Manual Age Verification from the next dropdown menu that appears.
4. Click Choose File to attach an electronic (scanned) copy of a Government issued identification that has your name and date of birth clearly displayed. This identification can be a birth certificate, driver's license, passport, state ID or national ID.
5. Click Submit.

There is no support category for manual age verification issues for Basic members if the automatic system fails. You need Premium membership for that.

If you only have Basic you can account verify instead by setting up a payment relationship with Linden Lab.

YOu can use a credit card or verified Paypal account. Once completed, you can access adult areas apart from a very few that require age verification.

It never ceases to amaze me that people who choose to take the lowest level of membership (in this case a Basic Account in SL) and expect the same benefits, privileges, and support as someone who pays.  So you can't age verify manually......and, poor you, the auto verification didn't work.  If you are not willing to become Premium then you are limited to a "work around"..........submit payment information as suggested, or do without visiting adult content in SL.

 

Griping here only makes it look like you are a spoiled brat.........maybe even under the age of 18 and can't get age verified anyway.

some time back before LL overhauled their ticketing system and hid it away where your not going to instantly notice it basic accounts were able to manually age verify and i did do this when i needed to verify and the web form didn't work for me i find it silly that manual age verification is now only available to premium members when becoming premium adult verifies you (this will get you on adult rated land) and mostly takes out the need to be age verified unless the land owner requires it
