Genus head eyes

Hi I’m new to second life and my eyes on the genus just won’t go on and end up making my eyes just go everywhere?

Genus has a discord server for quick customer service help. But the eyes are a known bug.

The eyes in the Genus head are awful. My alt uses this head and I ended up buying a pair of separate unrigged mesh eyes, and I use those instead. If you want BOM, get a pair that are mod, then you can change them to BOM in the Edit Texture tab (select Baked texture instead of Inventory texture).

Not a big fan of Genus even though my alt uses one of their heads. I mean it's a nice product but I'm more used to Lelutka and I can't wait to get my hands on a free Lelutka head for my alt as well. As for the eye roll with Genus, I noticed it but my alt (and I in RL) do that a lot anyway 😁

There's also a free thing on MP that will convert the eyes to BOM.

I have a pair of BOM eyes that I love and wanted to use, so I used this. (I've since switched heads and still use them--I'm attached.) I never did get them to stop rolling, though, especially in some sitting and dancing animations, and that's part of why I ended up switching to Lelutka. Even with BOM turned on, the basic structure of the eye still rolls, I guess.

Are you sure? This works for me, from the main head HUD (circled in red). For other eyes, Saberhagen's fix works. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Eye-Roll-Stuck-Animation-Fix-for-mesh-heads/21060074

I also use Lelutka heads more often for the same reasons you do, an Irina* that I got for half price last fall, and of course the Kaya Xmas Gift.

If you got it to stop, then more power to you!  I never managed it--I could get it to stop for a while, then it would start again--but I also stopped trying once I got the Lelutka.
