There are several ways to make those.  One of the easiest is to make a transparent mesh dome and add a simple script that makes random horizontal movements, always staying within a meter or so of the landing point.  People land on it and they naturally roll off to one side.

The common "pick up and move" type of cleaner is just a flat platform that is triggered by collisions. When an avatar lands onto the platform, the platform moves up and to some nearby location. The natural gravity and friction of SL physics will keep the avatar on the platform while it moves. It's very simple.

most of the ones I have seen at busy landing points are dome shaped and triggered by on_collision sweeping avatars off the landing point

so a combination of Rolig's prim shape and your Wulfie's trigger method
