Alt and main have same email address - any problems?

Are there any problems with having an alt and a main account with the same email address? I just created an alt, and that generated an email from SL:

"Please verify that this is the correct email address for the Second Life account Animatsalt by clicking the following link within 24 hours:"

If I click on that link, a page for my main account comes up.

5 or 6 of my accounts share the same email. 

Log your account out of your dashboard.  Then don't click the email link right right click and copy the url, pasting it into the browser page where you logged yourself out.

I have up to three alts on the same email ddress and I've never had any problems with that either.
