How do I get a new linden house?

HOW are we to get one of the new linden houses?  I understand there is a shortage, but even when you announce there are more, I still don't see anywhere that is says HOW we are suppose to try for one.  The old  houses are still showing up on the webpage https://land.secondlife.com/en-US/lindenhomes/land-selection.php    Help please.

Keep refreshing that page. If someone abandons their new Linden home and you happen to refresh at the right time, then you can snag up that home.

Exactly right. Linden Homes have always been offered on an "as available" basis.  Just as in RL, the particular type of house you may be hoping for could be unavailable on the day when you go out with a real estate agent.  The next day, though, your dream house may come on the market.  So, you have a couple of choices.  Either you wait patiently, watching the market as Fritgern suggests until someone else releases a home, or you select among the homes that are available at the time, hoping to trade up later.  There are plenty of first generation Linden Homes available right now, but the new models are in short supply as Linden Lab is building out the new Bellisseria continent. The more additions LL makes, the less we will feel like we are in a perpetual gold rush.  Choose your own strategy and enter the market when you are ready.

@Shari Steamer  The reason they are not showing up in the regular list of homes is they are selling out. They are very popular. The latest batch of houseboats in Bellissaria where filled in under 30 minutes, or so I hear and have no reason to doubt it.
