New product alert for marketplace?

Anyone know if there is there some plugin for browsers that alerts when favourited stores release new products or product updates, since the SL marketplace lacks most basic ecommerce platform features? There are like a dozen shops I keep bookmarked, and since I really like some of their products I'm forced to sort them by newest->oldest, and open their links one by one to check if they have new products released.

A proper filter system would be great as a browser plugin as well.

This is an excellent suggestion for the SL design team. I am sure there would be in increase in revenue if they were to add automated features such as this to the marketplace.

Yeah thats a great idea! But instead of waiting for this feature to show up in Marketplace I would try some kind of a workaround... if possible lol

Contact your favorite merchants and suggest them to send a message through their subscriber or website or any other channel they use, when new products are added on the marketplace. Thats just one more opportunity for the merchants to advertise and I am sure they would use it. I will

don't mess more with the MP .. use the store groups for that.
