Venetia Cazalet
Hi everyone My private region was griefed yesterday. A huge prim is over the land and the lag it is causing is terrible, I suspect it has a 'bad' script in it. Some of my residents homes are inside this huge prim. The owner of this prim is 6 days old so I suspect it is an ALT. Yesterday I contacted chat support and the Linden employee I was talking to came to see if they could remove it as I could not, but they could not remove it either. I filed an AR yesterday and another today. The lag is so bad that the Land Tools list of scripted objects in the on the sim is not loading. I suspect that it has been rezzed from someones land on the south of the sim that has Object entry open to everyone, but I can't get there to see if there is anything I can do to get rid of this thing. I am also a little worried that if I did delete it or send it back it might take everything on the sim with it. Has this type of griefing happened to anyone else? What else can I do? How long does action on an AR take to happen? I am thinking of requesting a roll back if nothing happens soon. Thanks and hope someone can help. Lisa006 Baxton
Open your region/estate tool (not the land tools) and go to the debug tab and return anything that is owned by this resident. You enter thier username. You can also turn scripts off in this menu window. It will turn scripts off throughout the whole region until you turn them back on. It's easier to use the region/estate menu instead of trying to find or get to the parcel the prim is on. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Estate_Menu Edited September 4, 2017 by Lisa006 Baxton
Venetia Cazalet
Hi Lisa, thanks for your help:) 191 objects gone, 66 were scripted I think as they did not go until I turned scripts off on the sim. Thank you so much:))
K9Mark
Come and stand on the main road through Seraphim if you want to see a really big griefing object: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Seraphim/29/14/42 it carries on through the neighbouring regions as well. I have ARed the user loads of times, so presumably LL will do something about it when they get to work :-)
