Hi my name is Cayce. i cant get one of my characters to password change. i looked for the e-mail they said they sent to me, it wasn't there.

Verify it didn't get caught by your email spam filter.  If not, you can try it again - you can get that email sent multiple times.  If it still doesn't show up, you'll need to open a support ticket.

Also its possible you didn't verify your email account  for that account back when it was being asked for a few weeks ago

Then you either gave Linden Lab a bogus e-mail address or (more likely) the message is caught in your spam filter.  You may need to create an exception  so that doesn't happen.  If it only happens for one account (not "character"), then it should be easy to compare the contact information on the dashboard for each of your accounts and spot any difference between them.
