Regain Tier Rights

I'd like to abandon the Linden house that came with my premium membership so that I can donate my tier to a group. I don't live in the Linden House or use it at all. Advice?

stand in it, click the menu : world/ parcel details / abandon / done

How do I reassign tier from one group to another?

Pull up the group info, go to the land tab and change tier donation to 0. Then pull up the new group and donate tier.
