Trouble adding someone to security whitelist

I am currently renting a house in a well-run sim. This house has a typical security panel in which I can add, remove, or eject avatars and can view the history to see who has been on property.

I have been adding friends to my list successfully however there has been one that I cannot seem to add. When I enter the name - just like I've successfully done with all the others and ensuring it's correct - it simply does not go into my list. No error, just doesn't appear. I've tried many different variations on the name (case sensitive or not, etc...) with no luck. Not sure what's wrong, I do not believe anything is blocked or muted as other interaction seems to occur with no problem.

Additionally, there are two friends that - whey they do visit - do not appear on my visitor history, though they are on my list. Other visitors on my list do appear.

Any advice on what is going on? The security seems to function normally otherwise, cloaking, etc. but wondering if maybe something needs a reset?

You are likely going to need to contact the landlord.  There are all sorts of security systems that it could be.

It's impossible to say without knowing exactly which system you are using and how it is configured.
