When did the price of buying Linden go up....or the amount of Linden go down???  Use to get L$8,000 for $20 USD.......today I put $20 on my acct and only got L$4900.

Here's the Linden exchange rate for the last eight years...

As you can see, it's never been above L$319/US1$.

The L$245 you recently obtained is a little on the low side, but far closer to the norm than your stated claim of L$400. Are you sure you recall correctly?

400 sounds like a pre-brexit GBP -> L$ rate...

There is no fixed price for Lindens. Lindex is like an RL stock exchange and the exchange rate depends on what people are offering to sell or buy for. The rate was going slowly but steadily down (or up depending on your point of view) for abut a month earlier this year. Right now it seems to be fairly stable.
