New Maitreya 4.0 layer problem

I had the older Maitreya body and I could easily apply at least two different tattoos without a problem also other appliers as shirts and so on but with the new 4.0 version it is impossible to put two layers on. The tattoos will go away. Sometimes even when you use the mask option which makes the clothes look rough on the edges. Any idea why that happens? How can the older version be better than the new one.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but perhaps it is perception?  The layers with alphas bug with OpenGL is as old as SL itself. Also, nothing changed with the body in the 4.0 update.  It is the exact same mesh and scripts as before with a new version number.

There is a notecard in with the new Lara 4 body that explains the differences. They didn't change the BODY, only gave Bento Hands along with a bunch of Bento  hand poses on the HUD.  They also redid the docking of the hud and made the docked tab smaller (big woot from me).  I have no issues at all with the alphas so perhaps there is another fix. Obviously it isn't a Universal issue.

Perhaps take another look at your old body HUD, especially on the mask mode buttons for the various layer options.

It's not unlikely that at least one layer had an active mask mode, something which wasn't automatically enabled in the update.
