If the location doesn't is what you look for, you can abandon the place up to 5 times a day, and than have a cool down period of a day... than you can pick 5 new locations...

You might also want to take a look at the new Horizons Homes.  They are on a 1024 sq m parcel instead of a 512 sq m one, but your Premium land fee waiver will still discount the land fees, as it will anywhere on the Mainland.  A Horizons Home has a 702 L.I. allowance.  You can choose your own parcel -- bid at auction or buy from another resident -- and you can change the house style yourself, choosing from any of the 6 prefab options or building a house of your own.
