Collecting all my items on my land

Hi,

I want to pack up all my stuff on my land and sell the land. Is there any way to get it all without doing an auto return? Last time I had auto return, most of it was all stuck together in bunches and was a mess to sort.

Is there an easier way than just clicking on each item (I have a LOT!)

YEP, go around and take it. Easy.

ADDED. What you call a lot, i can clear my sim in a few hours.

You could use Build -> Pathfinding -> Linksets.

You can return single objects or multi-selections of objects from there.

Use the "area search" function to see all your items, tehn you can decide what to pick up, or what to delete

I go for a lon slow route:

I rez a prim and give it easy to remember solid integer position numbers in the middle of a cluster of things. I then link all kinds of stuff to it, keeping it the root prim, and when done take it into inventory. I do that again with another prim in the same location.

When I get to no-Mod items, I take them all as a group, with the last item I select being a prim in the spot that I used above.

- Makes it very easy to set everything up again.

(But I might try using a perm-rezzer next time. Have it remember the distance to various objects from itself, and then just use it to set them all out again.)

If you just want to take a build down and have no interest in remaking it again... just deleting everything that is copy, then taking the no-copy items into inventory... is quick enough.
