Creator's name in mesh fullperms

Hello.

I'm just learning how mesh works.

I have purchased a fullperms mesh pillow and I want to modify it and sell it.

1. I comes in a huge size. Why?

2. I can add a different texture, but the creator's name remains the same (not me) . Is there a way to appear as the creator of the new item?

If the pillow is full perm, you can change its size  yourself easily.  Why is it big?  Who knows.  Maybe the creator likes big pillows.  Or maybe she figures that it's easier to make something smaller -- details get sharper as you shrink things -- than it is to make them larger.  In any case, that's a trivial adjustment.

If you want the pillow to show you as the creator, all you need to do is link it to another prim.  If you made the other prim and if it is the root of the new linkset, the whole object will show you as the creator.  I'd suggest just rezzing a small prim and putting it inside the pillow where nobody will ever know that it's there.

Creator:  In general, no.  You will find many mesh fashions in the stores which list the mesh modeler as the creator, rather than the clothing store owner who purchased the mesh model, textured it, and is re-selling it.  As Rolig says, you can appear as the creator of a multi-prim object that includes the mesh model, but the mesh model's creator will always show as the creator of that particular prim.
