P.S. I only asked after having explored almost everything in search such as Middle East, arab, bazaar, etc etc.  There are only some mysterious game tables all over sl, and the usual dance balls.  No, seriously if a souk does not exist (with dozens of merchandises and lots of freebies) somebody must create it.

P.S. 2 Perhaps it's a question of money and financial crisis.  Every ethnic sl sim I saw is an often touching effort to create a beautiful environment with the flag on top of it, and the usual as I said sl features (dance and games) but no special ethnic features at all.  Or not available ones except for the landscape design.  While it would be wonderful if ethnic outfits would be available to buy and some freebies too, same as ethnic objects (decorative, utlitarian).  But if it is as someone said (every sim in sl is the effort of an individual who finances it), then it is understood.

Almost certainly. Use your Search tool to look for places with logical keywords (Souk, bazaar, marketplace, agora .... ) or look for cultural or geographic terms (North Africa, Mediterranean.... ) and then start exploring.  Half the fun is in the exploration.

...and many more.  Learning to use Search (CTRL+F) will help you find places.  A search on "souk" returned no results, but I got a half dozen or more with "bazaar" and a ton when I searched on "market."
