There is voice in SL. Maybe you can't hear it.

Why can't you hear it? Now that's a better question.

• Check your volume settings for your PC
• Check your Second Life preferences (Ctrl+P)
• Check that SLVoice.exe is allowed through your firewall.

Be thankful.  IMO, voice is an annoying feature and it's mechanically unreliable. Fortunately, I know very few people who use it, so I am spared the need to tell whether it's working or not. And i love voice in sl.  But like previous poster said  it has some problems  if  you dont have a good mic.   So dont go cheap!

A wired mic is best!   Voice in Second Life is like useing  a CB radio.   You can't talk at the same time as another person. 

Makes you real good  a listening  lol
