In Second Life who provides the picture of your sim on the SL Maps?

The process is automatic, usually run one or two times a week.  It will only see things that are within about 300m of the local land surface, so any skyboxes at higher altitude will not show up.

Hi Gabby,

Did your partner also erect a sim surround? People have used huge megaprims, textured on the inside, to isolate themselves from icky views. If you use a single megaprim, the map generator replaces it with a blob of color. If you use four sheets at the edges of the sim, the map generator may not pick them up.
